Full time Gen-X tech enabled nomads since 2006 traveling with a nomadic fleet of RVs and a boat. Currently splitting our time between a motor yacht slowing exploring the Great Loop, a vintage bus conversion and Travato camper van.
Our crew is Chris Dunphy & Cherie Ve Ard serving the admiral of the fleet, Kiki (meow).

Do you have any more information about whether the IPad Pro M4 has the same bug as previous models where the GPS switches of intermittently when speed is relatively constant?
I'm so disappointed that winnabego doesn't have this floor plan anymore!! Now that I'm looking, I've seen all class best and this floor plan that will work for me! What do I do!
Campground Wi-Fi is so rarely worthwhile, and we're often in places that don't have it all. And even when it is - once you have multiple other ways online, it usually isn’t something you even need to bother to check.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost a dog and a cat while on the road, too. And while I still have 3 dogs, I miss my companions SO much! But, like I say, your next pet will find you.
Wilmington is accessible from Wrightsville Beach. However, staying Downtown is a great alternative. And when you use Snows Cut it is not far out of your way. And where you stayed, you probably heard a concert or two.
you still have the 2020.5 travato. no idea how you sleep together in that 49" wide bed. please respond and tell me I can buy a GL for my wife and I and will be able to sleep?
Hey thanks for the update I grew up in Southport during the summers and still come back to vacation. I am looking forward to looking up the couple on the inlet there. We, Denver and Myself are following and looking into which vessel will be right for us. Denver is 6'7" so him fitting in and on is important. I am short so I want something i feel safe putting out the fenders. I want one boat he wants a trawler one engine >>>> HMMM we will sees who wins this battle. We still have about 5 yrs before we get totally ready to do serious shopping.
I’m an RVer so mostly know the two of you from RVing info. But I live in Southport, go to Wilmington frequently and agree that it is a cool town. Before hubby passed we had a trawler and went to Wilmington about twice a season. We’d tie up along the river walk somewhere, go to dinner, etc. Miss our trips up the river. Also highly recommend a stop in Beaufort NC. Enjoy your loop!
Hey guys, been a subscriber for about 5 years and really like the boating videos in particular. Regarding your possible new radar, check out the NautiGuys (or maybe NauitStyles) videos on their tour of Furuno’s US HQ and explanation of their technology. These were posted about 6 months ago. I’ve got Raymarine, but planning to switch. VERY impressive.
Hey guys, looks like the loop is going well. Stopping for a month is just great. It's not like you're on a schedule and isn't finding cool interesting places what it's all about. Keep the good stuff coming guys and I'll miss not seeing Kiki.
They do not need much storage to run - but downloading charts for the entire country can use up a lot. Fortunately you can just download the areas that you are currently cruising if storage runs tight. I would avoid a 32GB iPad - but 64GB on up should be no problem.
So so sorry for your loss! Pets are not animals, they are one of the family, we know what its like to lose them. She had a great life with you both. Great memories! Thanks for sharing your adventures, good and bad, with us.
Sorry for your loss. Kiki had the best life a cat could have, and you gave her that! I feel the same when our fur baby passed. We gave her a great 11 yrs. Our Morky won’t be forgot. She passed 2013.
We are truly sorry to hear about your precious Kiki😢 They are our children & watching them every day gives us a little more happiness & life to look forward 🙏 May God Bless you BOTH for giving Kiki such a wonderful life. We love you ALL 💋
Beautiful tribute ❤️ Kiki was so loved. You gave her a full and fun life. I recently lost my cat of 20 years. It hurts. Take care of yourselves. Treasure the adventures and quiet moments you were blessed to have. You gave her one hell of a adventure. She lived each moment to the fullest. It's time to rest. ❤
What a beautiful tribute. The video made me tear up 😢... I can't even imagine what you must have felt while creating it. You really gave Kiki the best kitty life.
Nikki & I are so sorry for your loss. Memories live on and you'll never know when they will hit until a tear falls from your eye. Pets always give and never ask for anything in return. Long live the memory of Kiki.
Very, very sad news. What a great tribute to a wonderful pet, though. Thanks for sharing her with us for all these years. She led an amazing life thanks to you, her crew. Sending lots of positivity and strength your way.
