I post benchmarks of random hardware when I have time for it. Hope it helps some people with picking the right budget parts. And I love showing old parts still doing well in current games.
just replaced it with rx 6700 xt asus rog strix. gigabyte was extremelly hot card and get 83 degrees celcius in a minute even after thermo interface change.
I did use the card in the thumbnail and I think it was mostly fine for me. It could be that you were unlucky and something broke or something was not done right, or the case, my cards used to be all hot when I had a smaller case with not a lot of airflow. the hottest card I remember having was a 3070ti founders edition, I always had to run that at full fan speed for it to stay below 80 degrees in gaming.
Why does my r9 280x struggle with every single game and has done ever since I’ve had it. Literally couldn’t even run fortnite on lowest settings above 15 fps
@@raze7909 good question, but that is exactly why, without it, the frame timing would be really bad and the fps will be all over the place with really bad 1% and 0.1% lows. By limiting the fps to 60, it was still a decent experience.
Some settings in the motherboard I entered made it so that MSI afterburner doesn't give accurate details on the power useage. It is supposedly better for oc according to the motherboard and was still left on from the i5 5675C.
@@DatenshiYohane it is indeed at the start, I think it is easiest to include that kind of stuff from cpu-z because people would often ask Stuff like that, and sometimes MSI afterburner shows incorrect clock speeds. So I just put everything at the start now. I think the Voltage I used is about the highest you actually want to use from what I remember google telling me. As for the cooler a decent tower cooler kept it cool enough, that should also be in the cpu screenshot.
Hello! Same cpu, AAA games in 2024 under 60 FPS, so we need a change if you want to play newest AAA games. In my opinion an eight-core cpu directly. Good work, thank you!
Thank you for the comment, and I think some 4 cores can still work, But I would not reccomend this one. And unless you are on a low budget I would just get a 6 core cpu at least in the ryzen 5 7600/7500F. And if you do stuff like console emulation, I actually have no idea. I just know my ryzen 5 7500F does anything with out trouble, but not ps3 emulation, I think you might need a ryzen 9 9950X for that for 60 fps. or maybe the 8 core will more than double performance, but I don't think it would.
@@NateTheGrateAnimations So I don't mean to be rude, but have you tried to google? If the games telling you I use a Ryzen 5 7500F and me telling you that is what I am using does not convince you, I think google is the best place to look. Or Tweakers.
@@NateTheGrateAnimations I am not sure about the current price. But it is a 7600 without igpu, and when I bought mine it saved me about 40 euro, and it gets the same performance. The current price could be different, I haven't looked at those since I got mine. But since I was going to use a dedicated gpu, it was just saving money for me. Also I really didn't mean to be rude in the last comment, and it's good that you ask/mention when you think something is wrong. But I really meant those 2 as the best options if me and some of the video games aren't convincing (enough).
7500f is not selled worldwide, exclusive for US, China and Resellers on Germany cheaper than 7600 and 7600x around same performance and less power consumption than the 9000 ryzen gen
@@0010-d3w Hi, do you mean how I get the CPU usage this high? Or do you mean something else? If you are wondering how I got it so high, I use GPU that is a lot stronger than the CPU, and I try to put the games at settings where the CPU will be the bottleneck, and the highest possible I think the CPU will still get at least 60 fps.
@@0010-d3w your cpu useage is a lot lower due to it having more cores and being stronger in general. Most games wont use 8 cores so your cpu wont see 100% in almost any game. And I cant say why the gpu won't see 100% maybe the settings are low enough that the gpu is not being maxed out, or maybe there is some fps cap in the game.
Yes everything is good. The performance is all good, and you want the disk health to be high. The only thing I would recommend is to get a heatsink for it. Or put it under the motherboard heatsink.

Thanks for the suggestion. I could try and do that sometime, but I don't have it anymore right now. I only keep cheap parts and I sell on the more expensive ones. I hope it was still helpful, I tried to target a guaranteed 60 fps for it, and with the settings I showed that should be possible.
@@Dart_Monkeys It has already been sold, I managed to get it for a fair bit under market price, so I also sold it for cheap. If you are in the Netherlands I can hit you up with good deals if I see them. Otherwise the sites I am using will be fairly useless to you I am afraid.
@@Dart_Monkeys np and good luck finding one. And a rtx3060 12GB might also be a good option for you. It is basically as fast as a 2070s but it has more Vram.
Do you mean which driver? And in this recording I don't think I used the best one, because I couldn't find it. But I used the nimez drivers, although as I just said I think some versions work better than others. But they are great if you are running cards older than RDNA1 because it allows you to use some features AMD normally locks you out of like rebar(I forgot what the other name for it was). And it also just improves performance a lot in specific games

@@SuperHD2 it is but I mixed bclk OC with a multiplier OC, so it is not showing the correct speed. I should have probably removed it I suppose. Anyways thanks for the comment and I will keep it in mind to not display it if MSI afterburner isn't probably displaying the clock speed. Which seems to be the case with bclk overclocking as I had the same in the 12100F oc video.
Have you made sure to select 1080p in video settings? I didn't want to make the numbers too big and take up the entire screen. And I could see them fine at 1080p. Or are they just too small for your liking?
@@YouareGodsAnointed I suppose I could make them larger next time then, and its 24 inch, but the it looks the same for me as it does in the video ( it is just that for me, that looks fine) , but I will make it a little larger in the future than, thx for the feedback. Is the latest video better or is that also too small? It's a little bigger there.
Oh my bad, I will add that in the description. The 12100 was clocked to 5.3GHz and the 14100 was clocked to 4.65GHz. and the clock speed shown is indeed not the actual, because MSI afterburner wasn't showing it for some reason.
