I knew Bodhgaya how it was 45 years ago: quiet, few people. Now it has become a horrible place. It seems to be a big airport or a sightseeing place for Hindus. And especially the Tibetans have spoiled it with their exercise boards and their paper flags.Besides, why making such a big fuss about that place? After his enlightenment, Buddha never came back to this place. Why should he. There was just an old tree.

The original and the ancient Kapilvastu is in Lumbini province of Nepal. The palace of Lord buddha where Siddharta Gautama spent his 29 years of his age which is called as RAJPRASAD is in Nepal. The palace is a huge land structure and the four gates of the Palace have been already identified and its being excavated. Many ancient evidences have been found there and also not only the Palace but also the city of that time has been also identified.

It is a great Joy and Blessing to see the sacred temples,the holy shrines,the Blessed Sangha and the many beautiful pilgrims that give the whole sense of the video a feeling of great love and great peace. The one aspect of this wonderful video that I adore completely is the scene of the Blessed Lord Buddha sitting under the scared Bodhi Tree with a sparkling star above his most wonderful Head. The entire video reminds me of a sacred verse from the Diamond sutra who the Blessed Lord Buddha said, " Who looks for me in form who seeks me in a voice indulges in wasted effort such people see me not. " In short the Blessed Lord Buddha is pointing out that the supreme reality is not something that has attributes or is the object of intellectual scrutiny but rather it's the supreme subject of awareness because if there were no subject how can there be an object? The MahaBodhi temple, the Bodhi Tree and other sacred sites are asking the observer the eternal question, "who am I ?"Om Buddhaya Namah ! Lastly, I offer this sacred Mantra to Avalokiteshvara for the healing of those suffering from disease and for world peace : OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SWAHA ! May it be so ! Om Shanti Priyam !
