Molto bravi entrambi. BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO

I have seen Lopatkina and Zelenski dance in person, early in their careers. They were sheer magic on stage. And Plisetskaya, who was a family friend in Moscow, I have seen dance eight times in person. She is the stuff of legends!
@@Лиз-в8ю It is true....as far as seeing great dance in person, I have been blessed. I was in the orchestra the evening that Baryshnikov defected to the West. He was partnering with a fantastic mature artist, Struchkova, who easily was his equal! The Bolshoi Ballet was on tour and he was receiving rave reviews each night. Nureyev I have seen dance at least a hundred times. And I got to chat with him, as well. He seemed amused by my enthusiasm. Although only 18 at the time, my girlfriend and I brought an elaborate ice cream treat up to his hotel suite. He graciously declined the heafty confection but, changing his mind, reached for and ate the cherry on top. He looked very healthy and fit, not to mention attractive and exceptionally intelligent. Nureyev danced sometimes eight times a week instead of the usual three, and his performances, even the tired ones, were fascinating...in fact a magical revelation. He was likely the equal of Plisetskaya, at his best. I am not so sure today, with all of the correctness and the ME TOO movement, if his bohemian, devilish ways would be overlooked and forgiven by the public and the media, as they were way back when he was a rising star. As well as his fantastic capacities, which generations have gloried in, Nureyev had a certain reputation for verbal as well as physical abuse, and I am in receipt of this information from prominent people in the ballet world who dealt with him on a daily basis. Yet several of the leading ballerinas who he partnered with, and who I personally know, only had the very best things to say about him. They always stayed focused on the super-positive. The technical people mentioned the good, the bad and also the ugly. Like Picasso, Nureyev had a complicated life, as well as psychology. When he was good he was very good and when he was bad....watch out world. Yet everyone forgave him his eccentricities, because he truly was such a unique genius.

Stunning! Artem Ovcharenkos´ impeccably chivalrous partnering to superb Ms. Kaptsova is breathtaking. His aristocratic bearing and her acting skills make this piece pure classical highlight. Thanks for sharing!
I love Nina Kaptsova .And so glad she is back, there were some rumors. I saw her first in the Adagio from the ballet Spartacus and was immediately taken with her. Also such a beautiful piece and to Aram Khachaturjan beautiful music.
