I am sharing my approach in ceramic field with pottery enthusiasts in the world ,and demonstrating some different ways of throwing techniques. For example, using less water people can throw even without a splash pan, or you don't need to collar sky high to center etc.. Please visit my website: www.mypots.net for more information about me. This is the very best video on how to throw a large pumpkin. Thank you so much Hsinchuen! I a taught myself wheel throwing 3 plus years ago. I can throw small pumpkins. I am still challenged to throw a large pumpkin. I have not yet been able to close the large form because it is too overworked by the time I get there. I will try collaring the clay from the bottom up to keep the diameter from widening too much. You seem to be able to push the clay taller by doing this. I am determined to make a large pumpkin successfully. Meanwhile, I will watch this video again!
@@hsinchuen Oh thank you. I will check them out! I would love to purchase your lage round riib for bowls. I hesitate because it will be $100+ CDN by the time I pay exchange rate, delivery, taxes and duties. I may ask for it as a xmas present!
I have several videos without music. The problem is when I sped up the process, there is some noise and I have to add some music on the background to cover it. The real throwing and trimming took me more than an hour and most people didn’t have patience to watch a long video.
