You're gonna want the red disc version of Mortal Kombat Gold. It was re release with patches not long after the yellow disc came out to fix the issues. Dreamcast is fickle like the original Xbox. I've had 6 Dreamcasts through out my life. Great console though just breaks easily. Of the 6 console I've had 3 of em messed up over the years. I have 3 working ones. But none of the 3 working ones read scratched discs very well. The first one I had did. Also two of the 3 that messed up had this issue where they would randomly reset and not stay on for very long. Glad I'm not the only one who knows Dreamcast has issues and messes up easily. Also that date thing is because the internal battery needs replacing.
Good video. I remember back when I was 15 and saving up money to buy a dreamcast. Now I am 38. Good memories! I kept it all these years, and will bring it back with me this year back to Kansas.
hey for the backwards compatable i dont know how 90% of yea hear on youtube dont know that you can mod your ps3 i modded my ps3 phat i owned the same one you did it could not read ps2 games but once i jail break installed hen cfw ps2 games are playable .
I actually am aware about ps3 cfw, I modded mine about a year ago to get a few ps3 games since mine can no longer read discs & to play mw2 online. The thing is I don't care about modding for the purpose to play ps2 games or other retro games since I prefer playing on the original hardware anyways.
I started collecting back in 2017. Mostly ps3 games in the begging. Now I'm down the rabbit hole of ps2 games, ps4, Xbox 360 & Xbox one. But one thing I can take from your video is that you said I want to collect what I want. Not for the heck of it. I wish I had that mentality in the begging. I don't touch half the games I own sadly. Sorry for the rant lol. Great collection/room tour.
