as a 70 year old I can relate to age and the related aches and pains that come with it slowing things down...but I also tell myself how many 70 year old ladies are out there shooting? Probably not too many.
@@jody9087 thanks. The way USPSA is artificialy adjust HHF is wrong. Not that I shoot at GM level anymore (54 yrs old and broken) but I still got the knowledge to share. Thanks for being here
Just found your page. Great breakdown on these stages. I really enjoyed learning from these videos especially with this being my first Nats. With these stages at Nats had multiple of ways to run run them. I like learning from different shooters thought process on stage planning even if ran the same plan. I ran this stage the same as you just had different though on how I came up with my plan.
I'm having alot of problems pushing the gun around, especially pushing the gun down to try and fight recoil on the clock. Any tips or drills to work on it? I feel like after the first shot of the match it goes away. Love the videos
Leggings. I cover up pretty well in the sun. This way I don't have to wear sun screen and I avoid the Irish family curse of skin cancer. Back in Tennessee, it keep the bugs from chewing up my legs.
At 4:17, when you state you should have had the gun up earlier; did the stage wall allow you to get it up earlier with how you entered that position? I’m not able to tell in the video. Nice run!
I could have done a bit of a compressed ready position and kept the pistol higher but upon closer review, you are correct, I couldn't get it up much earlier and IF..I would have moved backwards to create space, I would have eliminated the space I needed for my exit strategy. Good Eye
as someone who has had pinched nerves in the past I feel I am qualified to say you move really well with all that going on.. i don't think most folks realize how bad those things suck!!
Thank you. Performance wise, I should not have shot nationals but I got to see my friends and watch several students do really well so it was worth it.
4:03 my indoor range has room to take a few steps towards the target. If I practice, orient my feet towards the target as moving/shooting? Hope you get to rest before Nationals
Thank you so much for these nuggest of knowledge series. Please keep em coming. Also would you ever considering reviewing viewer submitted videos as a series? Thanks alot again.
