I've done this experience before and I really understand that the instructor has to talk constanly for safety purposes and what not. But when they're ruining the experience by purposefully slowing you down is just not cool. Like you're paying all that money just for an instructor to say you're doing it wrong when in fact you're not? 😓
Yes Im a Former Race Driver Here in Germany. Was Racing against Sebastian Vettel in 2004 Formula BMW. The instructor was meeeh 🙄 ... Slowing me down permanently
It's worth it, in my opinion. I drove almost every car they had. Had a freaking blast. Driving exotic cars on a race track as fast as you can. To ne its worth every penny.
@@CommandoMaster Most of those rentals exclude track driving, and will charge you out the ass if they find out you went to the track. Like $3k+ in tires, maybe more for brakes. You're also paying for instruction here, while the instructors try to make most drivers run smooth, they are also trying to keep them safe, as I would say 95% never drove a supercar near the limit who go there. It's the 5% of us that push the car that the instructors are trying to hold us back just a little bit so we don't total their $300k+ car.
Gut gefahren! Wie anstrengend ist es so en Formel 4 zu fahren? So verglichen bspw. Mit GoKarts? Könnte mir vorstellen, dass lenken und G Kräfte viel sind wenn man es nicht gewohnt ist.
It is a higher displacement V10 which naturally needs less RPM. Probably Judd. I don't think you could have a go in such car with original engine (bar maybe Cosworth) for such money ...

Die Doppel-Links nicht im 5. Gang! Standest du auf der Bremse aus Versehen? Ansonsten: Die letzten zwei Kurven nicht so gut. Die 1. Kurve nicht schlecht. Auch die zweite (dritte nach heutiger Zeitrechnung) auch nicht schlecht. Weiter so.
Danke war das erste Mal wieder in einem Formel Wagen seit 15 Jahren. Deswegen musste erst wieder das Vertrauen gefunden werden und ich wollte die Kiste nicht in den Kies setzen, deswegen paar Sekunden langsameres Sicherheitstempo ... :)
3:51 4:31 6:09 und 8:16 da ganz besonders, sehr gut! 9:36 das is Routine. (die fehlt) Da hättest sofort kurz vom Gas gehen müssen und frisch positonieren. Auch gut 11:29 also das (ich nenn´s) Körpermeter hast, aber mit F1 wird das so nichts mehr :D müsstest mehr Risiko gehen und waren ja nur Hotlaps, aber großen Respekt. Da sind Sachen dabei die Verstappen und Hamilton ganz genau so machen und abarbeiten. Wie gesagt und deshalb auch der Comment, Gruß aus Augsburg :)
@@mikethrash2287 Weder noch, bzw. prinzipiell beides. Hatte als ich 8 war ein 125er, bin dann mit fehlerhafter Gasrückstellfeder unter 2 Zäunen durch und das wars dann. Dennoch, für die schnellste Zeit auf den Kartbahnen in der Nähe reicht es immer :D Und du wenn schon dafür zahlst, der V10 hatte noch unheimlich viele Reserven. Denke die Reifen waren nicht über 60Grad. Ansonsten, wie gesagt Glückwunsch.
Interessant, auch wenn es schon lange her ist... Kameras können den Ton nicht so richtig wiedergeben, würdest du sagen das Geräusch war deutlich hervortretend/übertönend? Ich habe es ja auch, habe 110000km schon mal selber das Ventilspiel eingestellt und würde sagen es hört sich fast so an wie bei dir nachher, hab auch ein Video falls Interesse hast. Stell es auf 5:00Min, dann verkaufst ihn nie wieder :D

@@mikethrash2287 Are you sure allready asking that to them ? I looking at their website and it's V8 Also mate, i can tell the difference in sound between high revving V10 and V8. And the engine sound in this video clearly sounds like Judd V8 (yes, i'm wearing headset)
Sehr gut gefahren! Ich hab das Training vor einer Woche gemacht. Bin auf 1:42:67 gekommen. Hab die Bremspunkte nicht so gut getroffen wie du und vor der Jochen Rindt Kurve hatte ich zu viel Schiss ;-). LG, Bernhard
Wow, you were quite fast compared to the other videos I've seen. Congrats. What I always wonder: The tyres must be cold because they don't use blankets. Did they say anything about it?
Thank you, I tried my best. :) Next time I will try to be even faster. The tires are really cold so the first 2 laps really careful. Increase speed slowly, then you get the feeling for grip. Steering angle to high with cold tires or too hard on the gas pedal and you will spin!
