F15 engine mech here ... Bitburg AB W Germany 1980-82, then Luke AFB AZ 1982-83. Then worked at Garrett AiResearch / AlliedSignal / Honeywell in Phoenix ... first building and R&O-ing commercial APUs, then working in the test lab on (among others things) the F15 Secondary Power system (JFS + CGB + 2 AMADs). Good times.
Hi, this is great info, I will use a lot of it to clean my 11S. The only thing you didn't do though is the FRONT WHEEL. I need to replace mine. I broke the retainer trying to remove it to get the dog hair out....
If I remember right, that assembly just unscrews from the inside under the main board. Normally, the wheel should just pop out with the axle using a flat blade screwdriver. Have never had one completely break before.
I bought a new set and I still have the old washer and my not draining issue of water lines, pump have lead me to the PCB. So This is my last stand to figure this out so we don't drop more metal into the landfill. The washer is like new, otherwise, but won't drain. Thanks for making this, going to watch it now and hopefully it's a relay or something failing to send 120V to the motor (new motor and it's perfect) and tested no power to motor during drain cycle.
@@AlsAutoandAppliance Thank you. I am going to unplug the board cables tomorrow and get it away from the washing machine. hopefully, I can figure out what relay it is. my PCB is different than yours. I'll look in my docs or on the board for a part number. if drawing this in your head looking at it from the front of the washer the PCB is top right in the back. The relays are on the bottom right, there are 8 of them. the cooling vents are in the middle top. If you think the best method is to remove the board, and figure out which one of the 8 is the relay to the pump, I can replace that one and hope it's the end of this rabbit hole.
@@ToddEdmondson most machines have the schematic in a pouch on the back of the machine. Otherwise comment your model number and I’ll see if I can find the drawing. Otherwise you can try to trace the wiring to figure out which relay is the correct one.
Love the sound of the engines spooling, but controversial and hear me out, F35A spooling up still sounds better to me lol, I’m a little biased but I’ve heard both start in person and I’m still in awe at how amazing both the F15s and 35s sound starting up. God bless America for these beautiful birds
Man that sounds great,might have to get some for my 91,sad thing is i got a pretty new exhaust and its just too loud for me but it really isn't that bad but I'm looking more for the original sound, i have heard these mentioned thats how i ended up here.
I've always been happy with them. I have them on my other '84 that has MAC high flow cats and dual exhaust. To me, they sound perfecto! Glad you commented and thank you for visiting!
@@AlsAutoandAppliance i agree i dont like the fact water coming though the light while it's on (water and electricity dont mix well) hope yall got it fixed shortly after video ended
If my memory serves me right, you should be able to unscrew the sensor from the back side of the (see video at 28:25 and/or 35:20) and clean it off once you get the main board removed. If it's something you're seeing in your pictures, it could be dust on the lenses or even dead pixels on the sensor. Comment back on what you find and if you successfully get it cleaned up.
It's been quite a while since I've done this service. If you're 100% sure it's the stuck shutter issue it could be possible. I no longer have spare parts for any other issues. It would be 40 USD. However, I encourage you to try it using my video. :)
Hi Al, I am looking into buying one of these keyboards myself, is a too cheap "as it is" kind of deal, so I expect some funky business, this video encouraged me to get it and repair it un case of getting a lemon, thanks man. PS it is satisfying to see pre SMT circuit fixing! I hate to work with tweezers and magnifying glasses to replace the tiniest resistor ever.

hey! im from argentina, i bought my s2 is for 10 bucks, the seller told me that the camera was working properly but the camera don´t turn on, so i check the battery contacts, i cleaned the residues, then, camera started perfectly, but i had this problem of BSOD, then i found your video, took me 4 hours but it worth every second, thank you very much.
this is an awesome video, helped me a lot with all the pieces, could you go more detailed about the front bumper? since mine it's impossible to put it back, I see that here you play a bit with it and then it's easy to put the screws, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, since in these views is not shown how the bumper is properly aligned
The most common thing that makes the bumper super hard to reinstall is that the upper and lower body halves don't go fully back together due to wires getting pinched. It's really hard to tell, but take a close look all the way around and ensure there are no gaps between the upper and lower halves. Hope this helps and please comment if you get it to work.
Thanks for this! Followed your video and fixed my S3 IS! Ended up having to refit the iris assembly as it managed to escape. Also lost and found the ball and spring in the lens assembly and same with the battery lid switch after it disassembled itself most spectacularly.

@@TBolt1 Yep, Airwolves with BASH our leader, lol. Hours upping in a fully gunned B-17 with SNIPER at the controls and decimating everything in the air and ground. Airhead passed away about a year ago from cancer. Beav and I keep in touch on facebook. HERC is the one who was making all the videos. I wish I still had all of them. Yours was a survivor, lol. I do game on occasion. Kids got both me and my wife on fortnite. Do pretty well in that one. Played around on trackmania in steam for a while and get in the occasional team fortress classic. I have one game on my phone called Fun Run 3. It's a run and jump game with 4 to 8 other live players. It's actually the ONLY game on my phone, lol. Working on getting our teenagers prepared for real life is what keeps me occupied in recent times. I've tried installing all versions of air warrior to try and watch all of the gun camera clips I've saved but it crashes when it starts to play. Just wasn't meant to be, I guess. :(
It's the other end of my brush that won't spin freely. I did follow your video and confirm the bearing and cap side was clean. Any idea why the other end won't spin freely?
Great video and all went well until the tensioner ball on the lens housing.I didnt catch either the spring or the ball bearing and theyve dissappeared.I don't suppose you know the sizes ? Thanks in advance
The size of the ball is 1.99mm / 0.0785in. Not sure on the spring, however, if you put everything back together without the ball and spring, you will be fine. The parts might just rattle a little bit more, but most likely won't be noticeable. If you have a magnet, that helps locate those tiny parts, especially if you lost them over carpet. The gel version is supposed to make repairs easier too in that you can refill the cavity when the repair is done. Too bad it doesn’t handle heat very well. What a mess.
Hello! So, the varying speeds between forward and backward could be a battery issue. Half of the batteries are used for forward and the other half for backward. Might try to swap them around to see if anything changes. As for the not turning, I bet the magnetic coupler needs to be repaired. Crack it open and have a look. :)
Hello I have worked through the repairs of the blades and on reassembling the lens did not come together in the tracks and the two parts are now stuck. Is this the end or is there something to be done to save this situation?
Hello. I don't know if you saw my message on your other comment. Here is what I wrote: What has likely happened is that the inner lens (the one that has the ball and spring) has a guide pin on it that can lift out of place and block the parts from moving. It's a gray colored metal piece as seen here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oWNXm60vbw8.htmlsi=fWGz6EZYp0HC1lnl&t=2316 If you can somehow see this part, press it back in to see if that frees things up. Comment back if that fixes it or not.

It is still in a plastic bag awaiting cleaning. There is a local soda museum I went to to get some pointers on how to clean it since the paint has some peeling around the top rim. I was going to ultrasonic clean it but they advised against that and said to use only water and very light scrubbing. I was thinking about filming the process but don't think it will be very interesting. I'm actually afraid of ruining it in the process. The curator said the can is pretty rare which didn't boost my confidence about cleaning it, lol.
@@NostalgiCrazy For sure, I will film it, lol. When I showed it to them, the seemed interested to see it but no offers were made. Part of the reason is they are very heavy on Coke artifacts and small handfuls of "other" soda products. I'm not a can collector but I'm really prizing this piece. My teenage daughter tried to get dibs on it so now it is in hiding, lol.
