i always thought you needed a hard sponge handled tool, and apply and push in circular motion to get the stucco texture.. it can’t be flat and smooth, the more inconsistent the better for the right look
Hello, the light switch in my garage controls all the receptacles, including the GFCI ones. So, when I switch off the light, there's no power to any of the receptacles, and all the appliances connected to them, such as the garage fridge, lose power. Is this similar to what was explained in the video you mentioned? I have three duplex receptacles in my garage. What steps should I take to address this issue?
if you get rid of all your switched outlets in a room can you use the switch and add a light or ceiling fan? room has three switched outlets and no ceiling fan. would like to use the switch and install and extra switch to install ceiling fan and light.
You cannot put 2 wires around one screw, but what you can do if you don't want to pigtail is to use a spec grade receptacle where you can back wire (no hook loop) on each side of the screw threads. Tightening the screw clamps down on each wire simultaneously. I'm not recommending this as a pigtail would a better option. Where I believe this commonly done is for gfci receptacles where downstream receptacles are not to be protected (no load connection).
Ted you really should stop just commenting on everyone's videos and just make your own damned video ffs. If you know the correct way, just show people. Stop going to every single electrical video and writting a grad level thesis on electrical engineering. MAKE A VIDEO ON THE CORRECT METHOD.
Did not work for me because I had 2 white wires, 1 red wire, 1 cooper wire. So when I removed the red traveler wire I just had 2 white wires and 1 ground wire. Oh I forgot to mention that one of the white wire is a hot wire. Is there a solution for this?
Gotta say, this video is forward and spot on. You're down to earth, and honestly, I love the "c'mon fucker" you snuck in there. Just like I'd say....but probably a little more!
