@@notbadrule9883 it's different actors now, and it hasn't come out yet (i'm literally working at the studio doing it). I normally watch all my animes with subs, but I can tell you right now this dub is even better.
I happened on a recap of random animes and i saw a few clips of this anime and when i started watching it i was surprised on how good this show was, the anime has a lot of mystery, a little bit of romance , comedy aspects and a bit of supernatural and the ending song for the first part of the series is addicting. well worth watching. If you like mystery and supernatural animes i highly recommend an anime called the "raven consort"
I honestly couldn’t keep watching once he died not that the show is bad without him, but he was the only character that I was really invested in personally.
I finished the anime yesterday. It is a masterpiece. And underrated gem. It combines mystery, romance, and history. I know there are differences with the novels, but I like the anime. You should definitely watch it for once in your life.
The emotions behind so many fights is incredible and is what makes them incredible. My jaw was dropped the entire graveyard scene that led to gin vs jirocho. Another personal favorite of mine is gin vs hosen because it rlly displays gins strength in taking on one of the strongest yato members despite being human
Man my opinion in this...Joffrey was a character to be hated....he had a background, we learned to hate him even more with time....Gabi is just poorly written. Falco been trhough the same shit as her, but is not a psychopath, and is actually likeable...Gabi isn't, and comparing her to Sasha was just a punch in the guts
Cuz he died, he was eren punching bag and was irrelevant and wasn't put on a pedestal by the author unlike gabi He also barely had plot armor Gabi is the author pet.
they already do, but he's irrelevant and barely nobody remembers him, he also died which make more hard to ppl remember him and hates him.@@jsjadhdnsxodjwfdjdbvg
Gintama is a masterpiece cuz it didn't follow a protaganist starting from the bottom and chasing a dream. Gintoki and every one of the characters are realistic how hard it seems, it's life.
Gotta give some honourable mentions to: -Gintoki vs Benizakura Nizo -Everyone vs Housen -Gintoki vs Oboro -Yorozuya, Hijikata and Kondou vs Yato crew in SA -Utsuro absolutely dogging everyone in FS -Katsura vs Neptune -Joui 4 reunion raising hell on Rakuyo -Katsura and Sakamoto vs Enshou
At this point, i see people who hate Gabi for what she did to Sasha as simultaneously low IQ and EQ. Its easy to hate her if you're the type to be unreasonable and not take the context of varrying pov's and historical context relative to the individual But if you understand the layers SnK's lore, how the truth is inaccessible to so many people, and the overall message its trying to tell, it becomes difficult to justify hate towards her because you start why she had no way of knowing that she was kn the wrong side Sasha wouldn't hate Gabi for killing her.
The moment back in 2006 when I saw this silver haired lazy bum reading a Shonen Jump magazine saying how he also wished to have a Bankai (from Bleach) I knew I was gonna watch it to the end.
People should realize that gabi is a child character and doesn't have thinking of its own.....she is brainwashed by people around her surroundings...for e.g. do you think child suicide bombers in middle east decide themselves to be suicide bombers ???No bcz they are surrounded by propaganda and hate against other ethnicities....
I adore Gintoki, I came across him while I was a young girl in high school. He’s helped me through so much growing into the person I am now. I always looked forward to the next chapter or episode and I cried at the final movie, I never wanted Gintama to end but it went on the best note. Now we’re gonna have the spin off so his spirit lives on and I look forward to it. Gintoki is the most realistic shonen protagonist I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. Not to mention had the coolest fights I rewatch each time!!!
When all these people were like, “Oh my god!!!! The female Titan is Annie?!?!” I was like, “No shit it’s Annie. It looks exactly like only in Titan form.” 😂
Many people say that they hated him and they loved him. Curiously, I actually never at any point hated him. When he killed Thors it was obvious there was more to the character and that he was going through some sort of inner turmoil (it's not like he did the deed for personal grudge either, that's on Floki). The slaughtering of the village? Yes it was brutal but I still didn't hate him because it's not like it was anything that different from the usual Viking "work day". In fact, from another perspective, you could even think of it as "less heinous" because at least there was a greater purpose for the killing than just them stealing riches. And no, I'm not trying to deny the atrocities. I'm just saying it was kind of expected in the context of this world and thus didn't evoke any "omg how could you?" reaction from me. Fiction works different from real life. Whereas in rl I obviously want to stick with the "good people", in fiction I can thoroughly enjoy someone who is antagonistic or even downright villain. Heck, they often are the most interesting/entertaining characters. Askeladd was so goddamn enjoyable to me because he's so complex and not someone you can define with some easy boring labels, I so very enjoyed it how his whole character was kind of a mystery who got slowly peeled open while still not spelling anything out right. There's a lot of "show, don't tell" going on in Vinland saga and I just love it. Every subsequent scene, Askeladd kept showing more of his character, his soul, his devilishness, his charm, his evil, his humanity. To a point that I very heavily recommend anyone who has finished S1 to give it a re-watch. So many details and parallels undoubtedly (and naturally) flew over your head the first time. In the end, he felt like a person, not someone who was there just to "fulfill a role in a story".
I like the female characters but some are just male stereotypes in female bodies I love them coz they crucial to the story but hate them coz think they are just exaggerated. Like being faster than boys stronger than boys. Mikasa makes sense coz she uses odm gear which levels the playing field but the rest are just boring .
