Always be kind, always be humble. Hi, my name is Dani, I'm from the Gold Coast Australia and am just one of the many DIY Mumma bears in the world today. Here I makeover old furniture that is unwanted and worn and give them a beautiful new lease on life. I'll also throw in some sewing and other projects that might pop up around the home. I hope you get some inspiration, ideas and entertainment from my channel. For every person who watches my videos, thank you...it means the world xo

Thanks so much for this video! Saved me lots of time trying to figure out the settings! A suggestion though: you might want to try to peel the mat away from the material instead of peeling the material off the mat. It usually ends up tearing your material less and is easier to do, especially with the strong grip mat. There are lots of videos showing how to do this. The basic idea is to curl the mat as you remove the material and it just comes away almost on its own. Hope that helps!

Thanks for this video. I was searching for ideas on how to construct a board on our kitchen window sloped sill. This has given me suggestions and confidence on my project. Hey. I love the size of your scrunchies & thank you so much for sharing the way u make your labels. Can you please tell me, what is the size of your scrunchies & what size is your elastic band? I'm thinking about making some for myself & maybe start my own scrunchies business.
@ourhumblehomediy
@ourhumblehomediy 6 месяцев назад
Hi there, thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. The extra large scrunchies I made the pattern 20cm wide and with the satin fabric I made the length the whole width of the fabric. If your fabric is really thick and chunky I wouldn't make the length this long because it would be too bulky. I just use the 6mm elastic and then cut the elastic at 22cms. I tie my elastic and pull really tightly to make sure it won't come apart. Smaller satin scrunchies that have extra scrunch I make 10cm wide and the whole width of the fabric also. I like my scrunchies extra scrunchie! So the length of the fabric will vary depending on how thick it is so you might just have to play around with that for different materials😃
