Just saw this video. Nice info on diagnosing clucking noise and squeaking noise. By any chance would you sell a set of the ihc shackles with the grease fitting installed on them??
my alignment shop can’t align my 5” front drop. my wheel is extremely cambered on the drivers side. how do i fix that? i’ve tried everything and last thing i wanna do is buy the camber UCA.
Love the content. No bulshit, very informative, straight to the point. That's exactly what i needed no more. RU-vid content has become very inflated with filler
Aye bro do u cut a little bit of the housing of the spring, like where it sits bc my squeaks a lot and I already put hella grease any recommendations???
I’ve seen people say that the hole underneath the bed rail on the frame is the the center of the diff but most of them push it back an inch because of the flip kit moving the diff
After greasing them (assuming you have the Delrin bushing) you loosen them, lift up the back of the truck and while the suspension is hanging (dont pick it up from the differential you need to lift it from the frame) you tighten the part of the shackle that bolt ups to the frame because what you want to do is rotate the inner sleeve 180 so you can lubricate all of it.
How could i go lower if i already installed the ihc 5/7 kit with out needing a c-notch? Any recommendations? How much spring can you actually cut until you need a notch? Help plz
I just ordered the IHC kit for my 18 Ram crew cab. I know it can be used as 3/5, 4/6, and 5/7-8. Im going with 4/6. Does this truck have factory exhaust/factory routing, or is already aftermarket? Will my factory exhaust be in the way? Will i need to notch that crossmember like you did here? Will I have to go out and buy a bracket for that bearing? It seems to me that this kit has alot more to do to complete the job that what the video that the IHC guys did, or what the instructions say.
I just notch and install the bearing for my own peace of mind. You determine if you want that extra clearance that i give this truck and no your factory exhaust shouldn’t be in the way
Glad I seen this….did a kit on my 23 Sierra and barely rolling I can hit the brakes..bounce them….clunk clunk….damn near took the kit off today….guess I’ll be out there tomorrow knocking it out
In some videos and instructions I’ve seen they only cut 3/8” off inner toe rod? Do I have to cut some off outer as well? That really doesn’t make sense to me cause there is still like 1.5 inches of thread left on inner tie rod.
Hey man, I have a 2/4 belltech drop on mine. I’m just wanting to lower the rear a bit more. Do i need to just order the IHC rear shocks? Is there anything else or what would you recommend me doing to lower the rear more?
I would recommend the cut kit for the rear to center the axle and just cut the springs to your liking. Like the rear springs from IHC they should be the same springs that you have from belltech. And for the shocks unless you have stocks on the rear, i would change them to either ihc or belltech drop shocks
Buy a one inch drop spring for the front and adjust the upper arm for the alignment, the only problem you will have is the clearance from the arms to the frame/mounting points hitting since its gonna be so low. For the rear you will need to cut the spring till you like it, but from my experience you will cut almost all of the coiled up part of the spring to get that low and you will be close to bottom out everywhere in the back
Yup had the same shit on my 22’ truck and still on full left turn. Contacted them and they bitched out. Fuk’em- Big mistake I bought ihc and I bought because dude latino owned business. Never again. With Eibach I’ve never had issues with my other trucks.
I want a 3/5 or 4/6 drop for my regular cab 2015 R/T and I want to preserve my factory ride. Can I purchase shorter progressive springs for the rear to help with that ride quality?
