Many white Americans know nothing about black Americans. It is because the white washing of American history. As a black American I will share my family military history with white America. My father participated in World War II. He served in the Pacific. He was what called a Montford Point Marine. Because of the segregation of the day. He was one of the first black Marines. My next older brother served and retire from the United States Navy as a Corpsman. My oldest brother served in the Marine Corps Infantry. He did a tour in Vietnam. From time to time, he suffers from PTSD, and I believe part of his soul is still in the Nam. I was a 1st Lt. in the United States Army. I'm currently retired. I was a policeman. This is just my family military history. White America you could learn so much about your fellow Americans. If you open your hearts and eyes. And learn the history of black Americans. God bless America.
This is true. At some point in my life I hung around racist people and inevitably became influenced. As I practiced that wicked, cowered mentality, I felt miserable inside. Then, I became desperate to be free of it. Freedom from racism truly made me happier.
I think because I am from a "not quite white" group I never saw racism in my family or my community (a small island) I had to leave and do some traveling to realize that some racism existed but only now (at 74) do I see how much.....I didn't realize that because my mother knew she was part Cape Verdean she never felt completely confident....

It amazes me that these types are very articulate about what happened during slavery and explain racism rather well, what I find astounding is the disconnect this type had due to their lack of advocation for reparations. I was taught racism is against a certain race , not color Some races are a different color , some speak differently and have unique cultures , the neighbor to this polish man ( me ) is south Korean lady , she has the same skin color as I, she also has pretty , long , silky black hair ., Soft , smooth , supple skin on her feet and hands and neck and back ... the skin on the upper inside of her leg is like silk. Her husband must love it , too...
My father is from Pakistan and my mother from Brazil and I have met racists from different parts of the world but by far the most racist are the American black people. If any other race says ni-ger they are called racist but black people say it with impunity. There is something very wrong with that. I truly feel sorry for all of the other races that have to put up with such hypocrisy

Racial "color blindness" means you make a conscious effort to not discriminate based on race. It was actually beneficial to society. The current movements of "antiracism" hinge on a stipulative definition of racism . This shuts down discussions about race and racism.
Racial color blindness maybe in theory but not in practice. When someone says that they don't see color/race it means they don't see the disparities in situations when presented with their own racism. Thus any accusation against them can be pushed aside as the issue can't stem from them being racist but misunderstanding.

Racism is such a hot topic because everyone is racist. Its engrained in your genes and my genes. Humans lived in isolated small groups for thousands of years. We all lived in the same places for so long, that our physical appearance adapted to the geographical areas we were in. Seeing people of a different "race" meant you were seeing someone from a different geographical area, and you were likely being invaded, hence your tribal apprehension for other races. We lived this way for about 200,000 years. Thing is...is easy to get over. Those who cannot stop talking about race are still trying to learn to get over their racism.

Most of what I watched was wrong. Racism is a psychological process leading to certain actions against another group. In basic. If somebody is prejudice because of lies that is a type of racism. If they cut them out of jobs for their benefit that is a type of racism. Psychological process leading to specific actions. It is always the same which is why humans see a pattern there even if they have not defined it. False info on racism does more harm than good. And for the record we are all racist but their racism gets in the way of them seeing it. Racism is always the same which is why you can develop scientific formulas to counter it in any situation. For example Moses' system works with any group or action. So do two of mine. We already have the solution to racism but their racism gets in the way because you can use it on yourself and they do in this case. Thus no useful info on the subject. I had no idea that Moses' figured it out until I studied it... and I sat through church as a youth. So it is funny they have not caught on yet. It even has the full plan for world peace when you know how to take corruption out of moral texts. So we have had a solution to it for years. Nobody wants to use it though because like the church leader claimed... they are still using the inverse for crimes on a group I am in. Thus people have no idea it is there because they are using it for crimes. But if you want to study racism the solution is there once you learn how to read through corruption of moral texts. They may have not called it that since it is a stupid name for it but racism is not hard to figure out and counter as long as you have people willing to accept it. Such as abused Jews. They will not deny the patterns like another abuser will. Which is why they seen it and the solution exists in numerous religious texts. But if you leave them ignorant to it you can get away with it. Racism is the opposite of all science and the opposite of the science of justice too. So just look at the scientific process which makes laws legal and illegal in your country. Assuming they are not racist you will see it. And if they are racists just check the one they use on themselves and not their victims. Then look at the victims. You'll see the inverse. Thus the problem and solution.

Racism creats a system that alters freedom of people and ultimately effects the outcome of anykind of success in a society by choking the ability to reach it's full potential. No one wins because the long term stress in a society causes a drastic level of mental illness. Racism changes the social structure of a nation that ultimately effects the racist by instilling a overwelming amount of guilt which becomes suppressed over time. Also the lack of the ability to know the diference between right and wrong after racism has been taught to them by their racist parents thereby keeping it going generation after generation as it is passed on. The systemic racist society creates people who may seek revenge in ways that you never saw coming. Which would very well be what causes the fall of a nation.

It's time to just make EVERYTHING fair. Employment. Sports. Politics...everything. black males make up 7% of population. Therefore all sports teams should have only 7% black players. Same with police departments. Political parties, businesses....everything
As an American, racism is one of the most difficult problems to solve in our country. Take Malaysia as an example where there are many races, ethnicities and religions there but they can live in peace and harmony. Hope our country can emulate other small countries that are safe.
I can not feel empathy for people who do not have empathy for others. I will never turn the other cheek when the other person is in the wrong. I will never go out of my way to help those who hate me, they are not my brother and I am not their keeper. Those who harbor hate in their hearts for me is my enemy and I will treat them as such.

I know its hard for a lot of people we all have our struggles but we don't all reason with it the same. When workers go on strike collectively for better treatment at work nobody argues at the picket line about who got it worst.. its hard to hate each other when we know where to place the blame .
