I absolutely love watching you Brits do your metal detecting. Here in the US to find a coin from the 17th 18th century is exciting. But when y’all find a coin from 100 years before Christ let’s just absolutely stunning. The only problem is sometimes I can’t understand you when you talk. Lol.
Beautiful coin in a lump of earth! But no one noticed the well-crafted flint tool that is clearly visible in the earth above the coin. Was the flint tool also taken?
I absolutely cringe when I see a muddy coin taken out of the ground and first thing that is done is smear the mud, sand and abrasive particles several times across the delicate Gold, Silver or Bronze surfaces to clean it up. So easy to carry either a small squirty bottle of water a small jar/pot of water a a soft, delicate brush to clean and not smear, scratch or otherwise damage a find.
Liam is still making videos, we still collect content all year but his job is looking at a computer screen all day, so whereas he'd normally make videos at the weekend, he likes to give his eyes a rest. But more will come! 👍

I do like the Deus II but in all honesty, the HF and x35 are also just as good! It's a tad deeper and waterproof, so if you live in Scotland where it constantly rains, that's a great feature and you'll benefit more
