Ive seen a 100 videos on the grip. They ALL say to run the club through your fingers and never your palm. This is the forst time ive ever seen anybody say to put the club in the palm 🫤
Easy for you I am the world's worst chipper. I lose at least 18 shots a round chipping and I am a 20 handicap. It is so frustrating I have almost checked into chip yip rehab but there is no rehab for that.
My biggest problem is I’m super accurate, but visually the edge of the cup is such an appealing spot, I’ve never found it easy to look inside the cup. I basically roll it to the edge but luckily it misses and leans into the hole. If I roll it firm it just goes over the edge … I have to find a way for my eyes to visually look inside the cup….
Thanks for the great video and feedback. I was actually expecting you to comment on how they felt to you after using each one. But your standard GP info was good. The MCC align Plus 4 wear out fairly quick, not long lasting when you play a few times a week and practice every day. In the thumb and palm area where the pressure is as all my grips have. I use Winn Dritac now and they have been great for soft feel and comfort with some tackiness, but they don't last very long either. That's why I grip my own clubs...
Nice in depth analysis. I still fear to move beyond the ball before impact, which always destroys my drives when moving to the right. Any suggestions on that? Keep up the great work!🏌🏼♀️👍😊
Sophie, ive seen your slopey lies, but they are “one dimensional”. Could you do a video on uphill and downhill lies, please? Particularly the latter one bothers me during play… thanks!!
Sophie, nice seeing you doing your own thing. I remember seeing you play with Mark Crossfield and Coach Lockey. I’ve watched several of your videos. You offer very unique content compared to others on RU-vid.
Wow can’t believe I’ve just come across your video Sophie! I’m a 12 handicap and the last few months this is exactly what I’m going through, my driver has gone from being consistently straight to a bad slice, with my iron play being the better part of my play. Thanks so much for analysing this swing I knew my arms and hands were getting in front of the club head, and tried so many things to fix it only to become more frustrated 😢 I can’t wait to get on the range and give your tips on fixing it a go 🤞I’ve now subscribed to your channel ready for more great tips
Can I just say that Sophie is one of the best teachers on RU-vid. A lot of PGA teaching professionals should watch how she does it. not overly technical, just good plain English observation and corrections. Love it!
That was a very good explanation on putting, I will put your explanations into practice and let you know how I go. Thank you from Tim Melbourne Australia.
Thank you so much for this video. I've watched countless videos trying to understand where my swing is going wrong. This video was able to explain to me in each part of the swing, on what I was doing wrong, as well as the actual idea of the swing, which I had the wrong interpretation of.
