calm composed patient on the gas, smooth on the brakes, on point the rev match, perfect hand positioning and even though I'm an alfa guy I like this car overall very nice
I recently got a mineral grey OG M2 manual and slapped a MPE and VRSF catless downpipe on it. My god it sounds like heaven... total dream car and keeping it forever!! turbo go BRAAAP!!
I definitely disagree with you. I’ve driven all of those cars extensively. The M2 is the best sounding 6 cylinder bmw has ever made.. Interesting you mentioned a E92…. Stay tuned 🤗
@@PerfectRotation we all have our preferences, but I can’t agree with that myself. I think an e46 m3 sounds superior. And you’re surprised I mention an e92? That car is renowned as one of the best sounding BMW’s ever made. All cars these days just sound so similar, slow revving, pops and bangs, and very robotic.
@@ESKATEUK I'm not surprised... I just bought one. The N55 in the M2 has anti-lag. The pops are real. You can feel it keep the turbo spinning when you shift. We all have our preferences, I love the S54 but don't think it sounds as remotely good as the N55 with an inconel / titanium exhaust. All this is BMW M. Nothing aftermarket. While the Naturally aspirated motors definitely have their charm and are great to drive, the M2 makes about 400lbs - ft at 1,800rpm which is nuts and makes the experience entirely different. I agree all the new TT V8 motors sound the same, but the N55 is something else entirely.
@@PerfectRotation yeah at the end of the day it’s still a great engine mate, and I’m not saying I think it sounds bad at all. I’d like to own an m2 myself one day. The last of the truly good, analog feeling sports cars by bmw I’d say. Not too heavy, not too techy, no electric motors.. just how I like it.
@@iordacheradu4689 I really enjoy barefoot driving. I don't know if I'd say it's easier, but you can feel everything in a way you just can't with a shoe on, even a driving shoe.
@@yalcin_drives Dont think hes got one. maybe used a rail mounted on the seat headrests. Way too stable to be on the sunroof. I been commenting on every video and IG post for months tryna get a reply on how he has that shi mounted 😭
Hold upp, this one of the best videos uploaded in RU-vid history. 😂 First of all, what a wild roadd. Amazing corners, love the views as you are ripping these corners and we are along for the ride. It's nice seeing someone be responsible with their hooning. Sweet single lane, one direction road. Dislike when people do this on a road with oncoming, or many cyclists out at the same time and cut blind corners endangering others. But this was perfect, this is what I likee! I'm a huge BMW fan, this M2 sounds amazing, and I'm gladd it is manual transmission. You can clearly see this car is just a blast to drive, hitting gears like this. 😂😎 And love the foot cam, the M2 pedals look fire. Great shifting man, was fun to watch the quick shifts, and the sick heel-toe downshifts!
Why people take traction control off in this car? Yes thd auto blip downshift is annoying, but sport + has a way faster throttle response, and the dsc off makes the engine less powerfull to compensate. M2s are meant to be driven in sport +
I drive with traction control off about 90% of the time. Taking traction off doesn’t reduce power. Traction control by definition reduces power. In this video the roads are very slick and wet so I decided to turn it on, but these cars are built to be driven with all three pedals. I much prefer the car with DSC off. It gives you full control of the vehicle. The pedal coding may feel like less power but I assure you that’s not the case
