Well, I've been fiddling with this router for a few hours and have ran into some issues: 1. Wifi doesn't turn back on with physical wifi button, which is important for family members who want to turn it on/off. You'd need to refresh the router setup page on Wireless tab to turn it back on. 2. LED always shows error status. If I have wifi off, RBG/LED is always blinking orange rather than my chosen effect 3. Runs very hot and fan has not yet turned on Hope they fix these issues or I'm returning it, especially the wifi button.
Good headphones except for the microphone, I had the Arctis 9 before and the mic didn't pick up my keyboard at all while gaming, the mic on the Pro picks up everything, and yes sidetone is off, very disappointed.
Question for the 10gbps ports--if I have the SFP+ port connected to the internet, does that mean there are 2 x 10gpbs ports LAN ports I can connect devices to? Or is it one of the 10gbps RJ45 ports disabled? Basically wanting to have SFP+ from modem/internet, and have 1x10gbps connection to my PC, and the other 1x10gbps connection to a switch that goes upstairs. If that's not do-able, I'm guessing I'd have to pick up a 10gpbs switch to split the 10gbps connection? 🤔
If you are using the SFP+ it will disable the 10Gbps port and vice versa, so you are left with the one 10Gbps port for lan. What's your Internet speed or is it more for file transfer you want to do this for?
@@htpoint I did order it and it's on it's way. I've been having some issues with my internet--on my phone, pages wouldn't load or drop wifi (my phone would jump between wifi & LTE), and Chrome on PC wouldn't load (according to my sister). My current router doesn't have wifi 6/6e/7, and we do have devices that use that, so I'm curious how big of a jump it will be compared to my Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000 from 2019.
Hello, I have a problem connecting a gamepad to an iplay 60 mini pro tablet. After connecting the gamepad (Gamesir G8 Galileo) to the USB C port, the controls on the controller suggest that there is not enough power from the tablet for the controller to work properly - they slowly blink (the gamepad works properly with the charger connected to its port, after disconnecting it does not work again and the controls blink). The gamepad is fully functional because it works properly with the POCO X6 Pro phone and the iPad Pro tablet. The problem only occurs with the Aldocube tablet. Can I do something about it or is the tablet the culprit?
The "rattling" that you're complaining about was intentional. They didn't "cheap out" on it. They did it on purpose so they can be more fitting to everyone's head and ear shape.
It's a good investment. the sound is purrfect, mic is a little meh, especially compared to the sxfi air gamer, but for movies and music nothing really compares. 1st time I booted it up after setting the sxfi up, I thought I'd messed up because it sounded like it came from my speakers, but no.. was headphones sound. crazy good! It's a shame most sites will be fluffing sennheiser, razer etc and completely ignore this. But I guess they're all paid shills these days :(
Having you done a deeper teardown to tell us more about how the pmics are placed? I am trying to assess how they are able to pack in so much into this laptop? What is the thickness of the laptop?
Hi, if you want more, here is a few things you should take into account. Cons: 1. The memory is soldered onto the motherboard, so if something goes wrong you have to go to Asus if it s out of warranty 2. The oled is only 60hz refresh rate(at this price id would've been nice to see 120) 3. The cooling sistem is a 3 fan design(lacks a vaper chamber to dissipate heat more efiicient) 4. The gpu has only a 100w gdp, compared to 140w Pro: 1.Thin and light 2. Good quality laptop all around 3. Really good trackpad and keyboard 4.Amazing speakers 5. Very snappy machine, works excellent in apps like Autocad, Solidworks, blender, photoshop and so on The size in about: 13.97 x 9.72 x 0.68 inches 35.49 x 24.69 x 1.73 cm
its from Beaverlab I did a review of it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OpAr3VMZQiE.html it does a pretty great job for stuff like this.
This video is click bait. If you have nothing to produce content on, it's okay, just don't produce content. These are all personal dislikes, not issues with the case. Also, your fan set up is nonsensical. Not trying to bash you man but this is kind of silly.
Own this laptop, it's a very solid little laptop. Right now doing my research on installing a linux distro that is compatible with the NVIDIA GPU. On the Windows side, you won't be disappointed.
I kinda feel like for $2000 they could've found a way to get a 2280 slot on this board. Even if/when 4TB 2230 drives come out, there's no guarantee they'll fit, especially if they're double-sided.
Police cars use camera that captures the license plate. So thinkware inc. for the price they can't capture the license on every vehicle especially in the side lane. I use a GoPro 4K 4X magnification and narrow which I'm able to capture license plates on a bicycle shooting 30° back from the handlebar. GoPro used to have an attachment for the hero black three plus on the back that would turn it on and off and it's much better quality. Microwave sensors are commonly available and would activate most dash cams.🎉
Would there be any problems in cooling ( ryzen 7 5800x ) without the second fan? Ive got mine but cant install it with the second fan because of my corsair RAM, so idk if there will be any problems Running the be quiet elite with only one Fan in the Long run, would appreciate some help tyvm.
It never ceases to amaze me how the reviesers go over all o these benhmarks that the average person does not care or do not know what they mean in the first place. just want to know if the laptop dose its job reasonaly smoothly without a lot of lags and stutterss, and does not burn the hell out of you or burst you eardrums with fan noise and a dcent battery life. Going over all of these centibench or whatever only means something to the most tech savy, which is not the average person. There are only a few reviewer that get straight to the point and stop wasitng everybody's time just to be on youtube and try to compete
The distance results are not surprising, lower speed networks have a longer wavelength which means they carry a signal further, that's also why more 5g masts are needed than lower speed 4g
