Seeing all the Rakdos makes me thing of a fairly unused combo with Dualcaster Mage and any of those instants that return a creature from the graveyard when they die (made more famous in the Modern scam decks). Its probably a little slow to be at the peak of competitiveness, but I wonder if it fits in a fringe scenario. Its obviously weaker now that Dockside is gone because those instants worked great to immediately get another Dockside etb so they have less general utility, but at least you can do it post combat where the usual Dualcaster Mage combo can't. If you run the instant that also creates the villain role, it makes the combo a little tighter.

I built the balloon man for my channel too. Then recording gold fishing I realized the deck doesn’t work. Village bellringer works. You can use coercive recruiter. But the best ones, like you mentioned, Combat Celebrant. It doesn’t actually work. You can only activate the clown at sorcery speed 🙄 😣sorry
In my opinion rog is just worse than dargo in every way for mardu. I say that as a dargo stand but i do think it's objective. Rog and dargo are both mana cheaters when you boil them down. The reasons i prefer dargo is that he 1: synnergises better with tymna. 2: Mardu has a hard is time finding ways to win and dargo enables a bunch of combos to close out games and 3: Rog is great for decks that have free to cast commander spells and lack creatures. The free if you controll a comander spells are mid in mardu and mardu will just by being mardu run more creatures than something like grixis so we don't need the support from rog as much all other partners have motivations to be ran over eachother but exactly rog i dont really se a reason to run. Sorry 😅
With Pontus tapped out, hitting his Seedborn (clone) and the Defense Grid seems like the better play, allowing you to draw cards with the Ring and use interaction as that engine will definitely ensure you the game if it gets back around to you. Then you could have overloaded Rift in response to the Windfall. That would have been lights out...but hindsight is 20/20
This is the case for basically every group that has "2 regulars" and then others that sub in. Have thrown games because I KNOW what my friend will do, but not my opponent....but he can't be trusted.
I haven't watched the video yet but I'm so excited to see Zimone. She is my favorite Legend from Strixhaven and I'm so happy we got 2 more versions of her. Looking forward to another when we go back to Strixhaven.
Why did you discard the command tower instead of the fetch land turn one ? I think keeping the best mana fixing land in the formant is better then fetching especially that you had no lands in hand and trying to thin your library was risky
