A small Lockpicking channel to feature some of my opens. Welcome and have fun watching a family doctor struggle while picking locks in between work and family.
@@marek-do9yg 4KS is actually less secure against picking than 3ks or 3ks+, they all have mastered sliders because of the "key control" system they have
Well picked and gutted! These are a good challenge, so well done and even picked in hand 👍👍 Nice pinning tray by the way! Never noticed this before. I love the color change for good contrast.
Also noticed i dont have ur sticker and was curious if u were interested in a swap when i get my next batch done and in I send u mine u send me urs ❤i collect 🤗🫡
Nicely done! This one really trew me off at the beggining since i tested the key euro style and it worked so i went to try picking it euro style but no sucsess😂 Amazing work by picksmith and amazing work by you picking it! Cheers!🍻
Glad it was a bit of a challenge! A little bit of payback 😆. Nicely done and great picking! It was a happy accident on that sixth pin that the holes I drilled into them were offset slightly. It was set so DQ couldn’t pick euro style. What I found in testing was that you could put in the vise and test the key and it would work. But picking sprung the trap and gave me an extra hour of him wasting his time 🤣. You can test it and the key will work then jiggle the pin with a pick and test the key again. Since it is gravity fed you have to flip the lock to reset or pick American style. The name was a hint to DQ he had to pick my way not his 😆 but all the engraving hinted to it being picked euro. Cheers my friend 🍻✌🏻🌶
That was evil lol. Was expecting to spend much longer on this lock as it was the first time picking it but was actually not terrible, just challenging and fun. Now I'll have to try again Harry Bow's ones... they are giving me grief
Fabulous mate 👍 Lovely picking and gorgeous CL . Did that little gravity trap pin go all the way in ? I've got a feeling that DQ opened this lock and the key worked, but he couldn't pick it euro style ! Enjoyed that, very much indeed 👍 🍻🍻🍻
Tried with the key and worked both ways. But I suppose picking euro style would make it stuck. It went all the way into the keypin but only about a millimeter into the driver pin
Yale superior has diagonal chambers, sliders are better made, and have sometimes a (useless) serration. Also only a double spool that almost doesn't interact and a double t-pin. It would be more like the Yale 2100, maybe, but even so, found the Yale much nicer in terms of tolerances and picking
