There are 10 resurrections in the bible. Jesus raise the dead of Lazarus, a 12 year old girl and others. In Greek Mythology Dionysus and Adonis are two gods who are associated with rebirth and rising from the dead. They eventually rose to heaven and became gods. Miracle births are also part of Greek mythology. Since the Gospels were written in Greek, and the authors were familiar with Greek mythology, is it not fair to ask if the story of Jesus was influenced by Greek Mythology?
Jesus Christ raised them to life in the Bible. Only God can do that. Mythology is fake and only Jesus Christ is real is God and only he can save you from sin. God loves you and wants a relationship with you. He doesnt love your sin but God did something amazing. For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son that whosoever would believe in him would never perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ came as God in the flesh. He lived a perfect sinless life. He was hated and was crucified and died on a cross for your sins, was buried and was resurrected on the 3rd day. You cant die for our own sins because you are not a good person and need a perfect sacrifice in our place. Gods standard is perfection. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Hectaught to love your neighbor as yourself and to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Jesus said if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out for it would be better to have one eye then to die with both eyes and be casted into Hell.. He also taught that hating someone in your heart is murder and that lusting after someone is commiting adultery. Jesus loves you very much and can give you peace, love and joy. He can deliver you from addictions, suicidal thoughts and depression just like he did me. Repentance must be made though which is changing your mind from believing in whatever you believe in to believing Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and was buried and rose from the dead on the 3rd day. You must be remorseful for sinning against a just and holy God who loves you and gave his life for you. Put your faith in Jesus Christ death on the cross for your sins, his burial and resurrection and you will be saved and be given Holy Spirit to dwell inside you and help you life a holy life.
No because they were Jews and they didn’t believe in syncretism and did not follow Roman Greek gods. They were forbidden to since early Christianity was rooted in Judaism, also, these myths came after the resurrection event took place. Can’t say before because the Jews were knew Old Testament well and if any they would have went with the resurrection story way before they would even think to go with the mythological gods because of Daniel chapter 12 verse 2 talks about the resurrection of the dead 400+ years before Jesus even came to earth. Study read my friend it’s good for you
Yes it was influenced by the greeks, and the greeks were influenced by Egyptians, and the egytpians shaped story around thr idea of a sun god and astrology…they all are retellings It just hurt to hear
It’s funny how these people came knowing that you are just listing reasons as to why you believe God exists, and yet they still acuse you of not proving anything, when you are listing reasons
Everyone saying there’s no evidence of Christ/the Bible/etc. needs to do significantly more research because even non-Christian scholars and sources (one of them being a historian from the time of Julius Caesar) can attest that many of the events of the Bible were not only plausible, but actual tangible moments in history
In the bible, if there is no big man with long white hair and long white beard then why did jesus say "No one will ever know when my 2nd coming will be not the angels in heaven nor the son, but only the father and who was jesus praying to before he gotten cruxified?
He was praying to the father. Our god is triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When the Son became flesh he was limited to the flesh, relying on his father in heaven only like we all do. Matthew 26:41 (KJV): "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." This verse kind of explains the mistery of his nature. Because he was in the flesh, he was struck by fear when he realized his “death” is near. He is anointed and of godly nature, but was limited to the flesh when he came to earth. God bless ❤🙏
0:39 This is awesome. The person in the background asked Cliffe if he knew Hebrew and Greek, and Cliffe said he literally had to learn them in seminary. She then tries to save the situation by saying, "Oh but did you learn it the way that they taught it and the way that they spoke it at the time..." Blah, blah, blah. I'm glad Cliffe steamrolled right past that goalpost-moving question.
《REVELATION 22:7-21》 ☆JESUS IS COMING☆ 7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.” 8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” 10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.” Epilogue: Invitation and Warning 12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. 14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. ~ "🙏🕊✝️⭐️🔥➕️😇👑🇿🇦🌈♥️" . #144,000
If you start out with the assumption that I HAVE TO BELIEVE THE ENTIRE BIBLE IS TRUE, OR ELSE I BURN IN HELL...then yeah, it's easy for the Bible to meet Cliffe's criteria. Inconsistencies can be explained away as "poor interpretation" or bad theology. Or you just don't have the spiritual insight or maturity level to get it. The fact that Bethlehem was a real place? Boom! Inerrancy confirmed! Millions of copies exist. See?! So it MUST be true! Yet this rule suddenly doesn't work if we're talking about the Book of Mormon or Lord of the Rings.
While some argue that abortion is morally wrong because it involves the termination of a potential life, it's important to consider that the concept of 'killing' can be applied more broadly. Every time we choose not to have a child, we are, in a sense, preventing a potential life from coming into existence. If we view this as 'killing' a future soul, then by that logic, any decision not to create a life could be seen similarly. However, it's also important to recognize that a fetus at the early stages of development is not yet self-aware, and its existence is not fully realized. In this context, abortion could be viewed as no more morally problematic than the decision not to conceive in the first place.
Very important to believe the Bible. I mean it is the word of God but it is also important to have the right Bible in the English language because they all speak of different things because the devil has brought much confusion to steal the sword of the believer. For over 400 years one Bible has changed the world and God's not replacing it now. Your King James Bible is the word of God for the English-speaking world and has proven to be so, millions have been saved through its preaching tens of thousands of missionaries have carried it to the foreign Fields, massive revivals in whole cities turning to God. Certainly through the power of the Holy Spirit but also using the word of God. Don't be fooled to these modern Bibles which use different Greek. Have a different way of translating have copyrights do not have godly people translating them and use the marketing techniques of the Latter-Day to steal your money. One Bible has proven to change the world for the English-speaking people. KJV
The historicity of the jesus ressurection has not and cannot be empirically proven, it thus remains a story like the "Osiris" ressurection taken literal by uninitiated westerners due to being limited to concrete and predominantly left brain thinking faculties. The authors of high spirituality and gnostic(Fact based) religions, that were plagarized, are predominantly right brain abstract thinkers.Whites are not so they failed to extract the deep meaning of ancient scriptures when they encountered them.iaw they couldnt decode them. Besides, nobody has ever found physyical remains of any of the Biblical caracters let alone the main ones let alone jesus the christ. Abrahamic religions and their biblical literature are plagarizations of earlier religions and spiritual systems, that of Ancient Kemet in particular.
The three truths are: The tomb in which Jesus was buried was discovered empty by a group of women on the Sunday following the crucifixion. Jesus' disciples had real experiences with one whom they believed was the risen Christ. As a result of the preaching of these disciples, which had the resurrection at its center, the Christian church was established and grew. Virtually all scholars who deal with the resurrection, whatever their school of thought, assent to these three truths. We will see that the resurrection of Christ is the best explanation for each of them individually. But then we will see, even more significantly, that when these facts are taken together we have an even more powerful case for the resurrection--because the skeptic will not have to explain away just one historical fact, but three. These three truths create a strongly woven, three chord rope that cannot be broken.
@@davidmathews9633 you don’t have to convince me I believe in the resurrection I’m a believer in Jesus Christ. Where are you going to stand Cliff God or the science?

There is zero evidence for any of the any 1000 gods we have worshipped over the past 3000 years. Cliff is spewing nonsense because he has zero evidence for any of the claims he is making. Zero. If there were evidence for any god there would be ONE world religion instead of 1000 Christian denominations that exist on Earth today. What else can I help you understand this evening? Cheers!
i struggle intellectual doubt. I had so many questions in my mind, it hurts me knowing i even doubt Jesus. But in God's Grace, He answered it each of it.
The honest answer would have been that he believes in this god because it´s the most famous god in the country where he was raised, and if he had not been raised as a Christian but a hindu he would now be a Hindu. But yeah sure that the universe is only dead to about 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999...%, and that life has to come from life (exept his god of course) , and people give meaning to their life (most of this meaning has nothing to do with his god or stands in except opposite to it, but who cares), and so on works as well...well, not for a thinking person but for deluded sheep.
@@Justinegallows Which of the countless gods worldwide is actually real? How have you figured that out? Are you intelligent enough to understand that you have to back up your empty claims when you want to make sense?

No. Because there would be no believing it to be true when it just is true. Belief in a god or a supernatural being is simply based on faith, the hope that it is real. A better question would be "would you worship a god if that god is true?" Again, my answer would be no. Because I know that I am so much better than the gods described in every mythology ever concieved and I would be making a fool of myself to stoop down to a level of a childish, sadistic, narcisisstic god.
dam...that question actually shook him...he should've mentioned Egyptian have a belief of life after death, punishment for sins, and a similar creation, that is, both religions claim that the world was created in seven days. and of course god rested on seven days...he also should mentioned that Egyptian baptise themselves in the death and Resurrection of Orsiris....
