This helped give some confidence for my wife and I to attempt this. We said ‘squidge’ a lot during it. Tomorrow the silicone dries and we see how well we did!
My screens do not have springs and pull tabs broke off. They are 20 years old, the screen felt like silk so I had Ace Hardware install new screens and frames are cock-eyed. 👎
I'm not gonna lie to you Clyde, I hadnt even considered painting the inside of the shed I recently obtained. Thank you, so so much 🙏. Working too much and trying to get the handle on a new living space / trying to get all of my tools out of the house so I can live without reaching over things to access shelves, I ust haven't had the brainpower to compile every single thing i need to do with the shed. This has helped tremendously, thank you!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I was able to turn the cold side to take it off. Was able to do it easily by hand. When we tried with the hot side, it was very hard to turn the base. Used a strap wrench and it was turning, but still hard. It never raised up from the base. I could have turned it 100 times and it doesn’t turn up off the plastic nut thing. Any idea how together this off? Figure the plastic nut is stripped.
It doesn't work for mine, even though I unscrewed the screw in the shaft of the drain. It's so annoying. It's wedged in too tight and I've already tried using a wrench to loosen the top of the drain. I just want to take it out to clean out the hair inside of it and put in the TubShroom I just bought. it's driving me nuts.
Okay, I'm going to try this! I have one where there's a screw under it and I've already tried unscrewing it a little but I'm going to replace it because I'm tired of getting clogs so, I bought a TubShroom plug so, we'll see how it works.
I have opened up several different types of drains including this type but I keep forgetting which is the one in my present house. You were the 1st person to show the plug separated from the tub and without going into the video I knew what to do. Thanks for the best start to a repair video on RU-vid.
After watching numerous videos with no luck to remove my tub stopper this video finally solved it for me. The first thing he says is to leave it in the down position and then turn until it comes off! Ta Da!! Finally, easy peasy. Hope it helps someone else.
Goodness, you're an insanity reliever🥹 I keep kept performing the first solution at the advise of other YT videos, and I kept spinning the cover and knob like I was trying to save my life 🤯 All along it was the second solution on your video that stopped me from crying. Thank you 🤗
Thank you for covering the various kinds of drain stoppers including mine that has a side screw underneath. None of the other videos that are supposedly more popular had a clue!
