Your planner journey is similar to mine! However, I am back into rings because I bought a Franklin Covey archive binder after seeing Lindsey Scribbles and Megan Rhiannon use it for archiving. Have you thought about buying one of those binders (or any cheap binders will do) to archive your old inserts?
I just found this as I’m looking to buy my first Hobonichi Weeks for next year so am watching how everyone is using them. I am coming from using a Bujo and am thinking of using both together next year….but your great comprehensive video makes me think I may be able to just use the Weeks. I’m excited to see the new planners next month. Really enjoyed your video and will be catching up on your other videos.

I also just came to the conclusion that setting up a new planner right after Christmas is too much and I'm switching to academic timed (Jul- Jun) planners

If you pull out the clear tab at the front of the clear cover and put a velcro dot on it with the matching dot on the back you have an instant closure ❤
I definitely need a bag like this. Between having my lunch, laptop, etc., I be going up 5 flights of steps with like 3 or 4 bags ... lol. Some of my coworkers carry even more ... smh.
I joined the planner world in 2015 right when Happy Planners came out. Back then it was all Erin Condren stickers all the time. I also had the want to try it and finally did. It turns out it just wasn't for me as I only used it for 6 months. I agree about rings. They are soo fun to use but archival is a big no. I love looking back at my stuff and I'm sure there are products to store them in, but I just like the feel of a bound book more.
Love this Jay!! Thank you for sharing. I started with happy planner, then Erin condren, then rings, then boundbook, And now I'm using half letter and a bound book this year. I think that's the best part of the planner community. Trying different systems to see what works best. It does take hit on my bank account though lmao. But I love this community and the small businesses. I'll forever be a planner girl. I'm excited to see what changes will happen in the future for our community.
I love this community too! It’s so interesting seeing all the different trends and supporting small businesses and their creativity. It definitely has impacted my bank account too and I’m happy that over the years I’ll been able to develop and strengthen my discernment skills.
BTW I’m not currently using my Weeks nor my standard TN covers, and I do not have nor need the Superior Labor insert, but your video is really making me want to use all of the above! It looks so simple yet elegant.
Would it be possible to put the Life Wallet in backwards/upside down, so the zipper leather section would be in front and you could slide the back cover of the weeks into the canvas section?
We have similar collections. The loops on the Delfonics are also to attach a strap. Delfonics sells straps but I’ve just used ones that I had on hand. I use the big interior pocket to carry planners/journals/stickers and the small inside pockets for pens. I don’t use the outside pockets as much when taking out of the house due to the roominess it is very easy for items to fall out when tipped over etc.
