Welcome to the AnyTimeWear channel I started RU-vid to get clients to see overhauls of their watches. There are various events during actual work. I haven't edited it as much as possible so that you can see the actual work scene. I hope you enjoy the work scenery as it is.
Thank you for showing the removal of the movement from the case. This step is left out by most Goldfeather restoration videos and is very crucial for an inexperienced person.
Excellent work! I have a very similar watch that I'll be working on soon, helpful to see the basic layout as I haven't worked on a day/date Ricoh before.
Hello,.now a days, I use video while disassembling. And check it as I go. Back in the early 80's I had to use my brain.....it is so easy now with technology. Good job.❤😂🎉
Hello,i have been away so i havent been watching your great videos. Citizen came out great. Oh i have a question, some time back when you were finishing/touching up a dial, you used a black pen. Can you please tell me if that was obtained from an art and paint supplies,or watchmaking supplies???? What is that pen called?? Maybe a picture, or the video you were doing it on, i cant remember. Thank you, as usual, its always great and satisfying watching you do your job. Thank you.❤😂🎉
Hello, I believe if you are doing any sort of plating, firstly the object needs to be totally and thoroughly cleaned, of scuffs and scratches, buffed and polished, then all cutting and polishing compound cleaned off, then and only then should the object be plated. Otherwise the finish product will not turn out nice, but looks dull and blotchy and the job will look unprofessional. Your rhodium turned out fantastic.❤😂🎉
Hello,i use to repair a lot of quatrz watches during the 80's,somehow now i prefer the old vintage and antique mechanical watches. These quartz, especially ladies watches can be a real headache,a small piece of iron filing on the rotor and its open it up again and fix. Love your videos❤😂🎉
This time it was dirt on the hour wheel, but as you say, the most common cause of stopping is iron powder adhering to the step motor. When the caliber is small, the parts are also small, which can be troublesome.
