Hi there , I have driver attention system malfunction sign displayed permanently when scanned with snap on computer it shows no error codes , I cannot reset it either
No wonder it has so much lags. I live in California I need responsive car and not so much delay. This system only works in out of state that is less crowded 😅
Kind of reminds me of my experience with a mazda 323 years ago ,the speakers were not in the door panels but on rear shelf and high mid driver on dash firing onto windscreen reflecting back at you, gave vocals amazing clarity and a lifelike feel. Bose concept
Eke!! If you can afford a new 6, or know anybody that can and wants one, you better buy one quick, as it looks like Mazda is about to kill them off for good, with no sign of a fourth generation in sight!! Indeed I know that Mazda has been constantly refreshing the 6 since 2013, while they released a fourth gen 3 about four years ago, but as "old' as it is, the third gen 6 is still great and it's been great that you could still buy a new one when so many other companies are killing off saloons altogether and certainly not many around making them the way Mazda still make the 6, petrol, naturally aspirated, manual first and foremost and just the right size!! But indeed while we've still been able to buy the 6 saloon in three specs for many years, the estate lost all above its' base spec about three years ago, while it was the opposite way in the U.K. But the biggest warning sign that the new Irish 6s are running out is that starting about two weeks ago, while you could still select your desired spec, gearbox and colour etc, all the little extras like puddle lights and side skirts etc are gone... While looking at the U.K.s' Mazda website, the 6 is now totally gone there and in other countries!! Sure we can still buy a 3 and its' about 90% as good as the 6 , but it's smaller and rather plain at the rear! Anyway, as said, buy a new one when you can!! 😯😐 .
I have mazda 6 Skyactiv 2014 diesel automatic 2.2 engine. Last two days when I am travelling, the light of SCBS inspection required comes on the dashboard so I stopped and I turned the engine off then turned it on and the light went off but the same day it happened again. Specially, SCBS inspection required comes on when I am driving down the hill but my speed is not to fast. I am so worried about this, even the windshield is clean and clear. Could you give me some advice on what I should do please?
Neither will iStop work if the bonnet is open. You can make the iStop permanently defunct by removing the bonnet micro switch by unscrewing just a single screw.
but why it is not active in Belgium, I got my new Mazda 3 which supposed to be controlled by the App but i cannot do anything... it is shame for Mazda EU
Hi Brian. This is as intended as another driver may not be aware that the safety function had been switched off. We do not recommend attempting to switch this off permanently.
@@MazdaIreland it’s really annoying when the scbs malfunction warning comes on for no reason and after diagnostic checks are done nothing shows up if anything this is unsafe as it knocks off the cruise control when it comes on apparently there are forums on this topic and it looks like it’s a common complaint.
@@mrbmahony this can happen if the cameras are obscured. Dirt or heavy rain amongst others can be the cause of this. The other option is to visit your local Mazda dealer and make sure that the software is up to date.
@@MazdaIreland the car is exposed to anything. I havent seen a car with no dirt. Engineers from mazda should have thought about this. My mazda too brakes for no reason amd was rear ended by a motorcycle. Its a great feature but with the glitch I encountered its much more dangerous than having it tirned off
I own a Mazda 6 2015, I got it brand new and it's going strong but I am shocked that there is currently no option of a full hybrid in the Mazda range. All i ever hear is talk, no action is being took. I get the fact by 2030 all new Mazda models will be partially electrified but there is no concrete news. The new Mazda 2 is not new, it's only getting a bit more horsepower, why did Mazda not bring out a full hybrid, it would be great competition for Toyota as mild hybrid is not worth the money especially when you look at the price of the new mazda 3 and you dont get a diesel or full hybrid option, its disgraceful and a let down for the brand when they were once a great car brand, one thing for sure is if Mazda continue with their all talk, no action ideas, they will loose alot of customers.
I took the new Toyota Yaris hybrid for a test drive yesterday and when I was finished taking the car for a test drive, I never thought I would like a hybrid as much. The driving experience was comfortable and smooth. The CVT gearbox was a pleasure to use and regards of any noises when you accelerate, I didn’t think that, there was a noise from the engine but that’s the case with most cars when you accelerate and it was a noise I could listen to all day. Are there any plans from Mazda of bringing out full hybrids.
Hi Anthony, Mazda are taking a multi solution approach to our lineup to ensure we reduce CO2 emissions and become carbon neutral by 2050. With that in mind we will be implementing further technology to achieve this including hybrid and electric technologies as well as further improving the combustion engine to make it cleaner and more efficient.
What is mazdas reliability record like? Its all well and good having a good interior but the main priority to alot of people is that the car doesnt break down on their way home from work?
The engine noise cannot be disabled. It is a very subtle and low sound to give you an audible reference of acceleration. Its hard to explain without hearing it first hand. Pre book a test drive with one of our dealers and find out for yourself: www.mazda.ie/forms/book-a-test-drive/

bollocks - this has near caused several accidents for me. i hate this rubbish, its so dangerous. I'll not buy Mazda again due to this dangerous inclusion.
Well if you know you're going to the floor it. Move the steering wheel or lift the foot off the brake to restart the engine. Besides the guy said in the video that you can turn it off.
Really nice car, but the couple appear to be quite happy and content just doing their thing and dare I say it, just enjoying their life without seeming to actually want a car. Zoom Zoom.
Really Mazda? Did you know how stupid is this test? Try using a cheaper and inferior tires and tell me if those 27 sensors would be effective in aiding those grips. This test is quite bullshit.
Simple fix remove bonnet switch by removing small cover panel ..Take out screw holding switch in position & cable tie switch out of the way...The car now thinks the bonnet is open which disarms the I Stop for ever...
Please advise, what is the problem when the istop is orange and it is blinking and orange triangle appeared. It shows that it it system malfunction. Is it a problem with a battery for 100 % or it can be something else. Thank you
