I wish to encourage Christians to live their faith more fully and encourage each other including me to be authentic in our faith in all our every-day life. This is non-denominational and focused on Scripture and prayer.
There are so many SONGS in those two psalms. Again...I so love the spirit of David. This is so perfect for our times. Thank you once again, for what you do. You are such a blessing! 😀
I was so glad to see you pop up on my screen today. You know how much I love psalms of David. 😀 It's been a hugely busy week, and I apologize for not getting in here more often. I just pulled up your "For He satisfies the longing soul," as well. Amen! Thank you, my friend. There's so much in there. When you take the things that David spoke between him and God, even when he was living under the Old Covenant, and realize how he then turned to God and spoke of what he saw IN HIM, that was what the coming of Jesus was all about, and why, when WE realize what Jesus has done...ONCE...for ALL, it is so utterly awesome. My sister will be here soon, for her weekly visit, but I think I still have time to listen to how God satisfies our longing souls. HUGS!
Thank you! There are 5 playlists of the Psalms on this channel. Feel free to enjoy and use them in your devotional time. I'll soon be done with the Psalms!
I love the Psalms of Ascent. I did a whole series on them, just over a year ago. Thank you for more of the Psalms of David. I can never get enough of them. 😀
I'm SO sorry to be late getting in here to listen to this. It's been a bit of a long week already, with a bunch of surprises that have put pauses on things I MEANT to get done early in the week. Watching & listening, now...
Thank you SO much, Teresa! That was a lot of reading, and you did it all justice! Now, by the time I've finished listening, I have definitely decided on doing a series, and there will be praise songs linked to it, because there are quite a few of them that have come OUT of Psalm 119, over the years. I'm even (very tentatively) thinking of singing a couple of the simplistic ones. I will have to look into all of the copyright stuff. Some, I know, will be public domain by now, unless the writers have kept up their copyright claims, because some of the ones that came out of that psalm are from back in the 1970s. If I get really ambitious, maybe I will WRITE a song. Hmmm... We shall see. Again...thank you for what you do. You are a true blessing, my lady! 😀
This is super! Two of my favorite Psalms...so VERY important! I'll definitely be back to listen to Psalm 119. It was fun talking to so many on Dan's video earlier. I was able to stay on for a while after you left, but then I had to finally give up and fix dinner for David and myself. Dan had just had to restart. I commented that I've had to do that tons of times, but...a warrior NEVER GIVES UP! I had barely finished typing it, when he read that part out loud, and AGREED! Fun! 😀 Agreeing with your in prayer. HUGS!
I was able to go back and finish watching later. It was nice to see him speak of his faith journey (would that we all had such a "boring") story, that he doesn't cuss in Portuguese (I suspected as much) and he is learning Italian. It was good to see him interacting with Giovanni as well. Their friendship seems to still be ironclad.
I am not currently reading Revelations on this channel and would not work on an interpretation if I were. Study of this topic needs to be taken to your pastor.
@mollysmom4 Thank you for taking the time and reply to what I wrote. Sure I'll find about it in other way. As I said before, I find your work interesting and very on-time. Jesus is Lord God knows all and he can see your generosity in sharing with others your content. Thank you God bless you
@@thierrymunseugandachildren802 I'm not sure how this could be done but I will continue to read the Bible on line and footnotes that are useful. If my reading helps you I am blessed to help. God bless.
Oh, wild honey! That makes sense. Always wondered what “honey from the rock” meant. Also: could be a type and shadow of us getting nourishment and enjoying sweetness from Jesus, the Rock of our salvation!😂 We don’t have to work hard cultivating this wild honey…we can just receive it (His words/presence) with a grateful heart and enjoy it with delight!
Yes. My thoughts exactly. I don't live in a desert so "honey from the rock' didn't make much sense to me either until I read that footnote. And the Rock of our Salvation. I keep finding Jesus in these Psalms. Everywhere.
I'm sorry to be two days late in coming in to watch this. It's been a really busy couple of days. I have company right now, but in just a bit, I'll be back to listen and learn. HUGS!
mostly I just read. The earlier referenced reading (Your Justice is like the Highest Mountains) contains information about Ps. 37's structure; as always from a footnote in one of the Bibles I have. I find that part fascinating. I hope you like how I referenced you. Your site is so much more polished than mine! You do an awesome job.
@@mollysmom4 I loved your first one, and now I love this one, and we are in agreement over how rich Psalm 37 is, in helping us to get through these days (any day, for that matter). Thank you very much for the promotion. I have just copied the SHARE link, and am going straight to my channel to PIN a comment on my own video, and then I'm also going to put the link into my "Building Up the Body" playlist. From now on, I'll be watching for your readings, and once I have listened, I'll add the next ones into that playlist, as well. You do a WONDERFUL job. I love your voice, the fact that you love details, and the joy and peace that come right out of your videos. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! ru-vid.com/group/PLVE0zPKdVwXgaub1Kxb6r1W3ieXaz4jT4
P.S. Linda it appears to subscribed to my other channel; I don't have content on that one. mollysmom4 is where these videos are located. FYI Cheers! (Did you see Dan's newest yet? Awesome of course!)
Hey there! I just realized, after seeing your comment on Matt's (gametchanger's) most recent reaction, that I totally missed your point when you commented on one of MY videos, that I should come and look for THIS channel! I'm sorry! (slapping forehead) I will be stopping in as a I have time. You already know, I think, that I LOVE the psalms...especially Psalms of David. Thanks for all YOU do...here, and for Dan. HUGS! I'm just getting ready to record my next video. It's a little different than usual, and I've had a couple of conversations with Holy Spirit, asking if there's anything I should be adding or subtracting from it. He gave me the initial article in the first place. He has said several times, now, to just do it the way that He gave it to me, so I am, and I'm NOT going to worry about it. Loved THIS video. Thank you! 😀
Thank you! It's so nice to know we work together under our Lord. I look forward to your next video. I have completed the first two books of the Psalms. Although not many see my channel or are interested if they accidentally click on it (lol) I do know of a few. A couple of homebound folks one of which is blind has begun to listen. That warms my heart and makes it feel worthwhile. I do this in obedience to what I feel I was asked by Our Lord to do, but sometimes wonder if I misunderstood. Rather like St. Francis of Assisi who was told "rebuild my church"and so he and his fellows renovated a nearby deteriorating church building. (Do you know this story?) But his main job was to go and confront the Pope on needed reforms. I'm nothing like St. Francis and frequently one Our Lord's more deaf adherents so... I just bumble along. Anyway thanks for the encouragement. Blessings on you.
We are supposed to work together Its easier then it sounds You think everything is rosy but in reality you got to get down on the ground And get dirty, talk through your issues until a path forward is found Remember this world we live side by side and love keeps us bound
What else is there to say Play the game as hard as you can Fan the fire the reach your desire Tire, never Ever doubt your being Believing is seeing God in your actions
What a wonderful story, Grandma <3 I'm so glad I get to celebrate Christmas with you. It's so beautiful that we get to share the warm feeling of joy that comes from spending time with those you love during the holidays. Merry Christmas to you :)
These are also, obviously reusable. Feel free to come back and listen to a psalm a day or as often as you need. That's why their location is in the video description. I don't do these for money at all. And obviously not for entertainment 🥴😃
