Big question who pays for it. Typically shows only get canceled when they're not making enough money. As long as they're making money, they'll keep going, but I actually totally agree with your role as long as it's not rushed.
@@DaddyReaper1991 my idea would be it's a part of getting canceled. Either you get small funding for "one last thing" to sum it up, even if it's just a white board conversation with the showrunners. Or it's just part of an interview round. Showrunnera/actors do rounds prior to films all the time, so just have a post-cancelation circuit through talk shows.
I would love it if the acceptable post-cancellation of a show would be the showrunners having to do an interview - even dramatized - where they talk through what was going to happen to the characters. That would be an awesome interview-type show I would love to produce.
Better yet, the ceos have to write why they think somebody else's livelihood just sank Why did you cancel that show? Was it maybe... BECAUSE IT WAS GAY DISNEY?!?
I've watched studios tank so many films and shows, I don't need all the mumbo-jumbo, but I agree - I'd like to see a 'why' - was it under-performing? Was it due to audience backlash? Were there contract disputes? Was the story just not going the way you thought it would? Was it too expensive to produce? Anything is better than what we get now - "will not be renewed"
I've thought about making a channel where I talk through endings to shows I've watched, but I don't know if I have any shows I care about enough anymore to do that with haha
@@bensgalley1368 yes, the only difference between fans and studios is...well there are two. We LOVE the content and most of us aren't insane enough to do a MHA or Game of Thrones ending. The other major difference is we tend to not have the liquid capital that studios like Disney waste on flip after flop after flop
@@DemonMage true but right now a lot of people could get a voice cast and maybe a few art pieces and do a low budget show. Kinda like the old Superman and Batman radio shows they did before everyone could buy a tv
Totally works, but you won't tell me what the problem is so you're wasting both of our time. And you wonder why I don't just give you a new one to "break" in 5 minutes because your issue is user error.
I don't even care if you can't tell me the correct technical term, I just want to know what you see, and I don't want you to guess what the answer to the next question after the one I'm asking is - it's not a code, please just answer the one question I'm asking now and I promise we will get to a solution.
@ZhemJZ exactly. I don't expect you to know exactly what's wrong so much that you could fix it if I gave you the tools. What I do expect is for you to be able to describe the problem so that I know what I'm working with (and preferably how you triggered it)
I remember sending 4 new laptops to someone in 8 months to make a point and prove it was their home internet + working over VPN/VDI and not our equipment that was at fault. Just got me yelled at more then I was forced to purchase non-standard equipment for that user.
Okay, not going to lie, this would actually be interesting. I think both could work in case someone might desire to enjoy both mediums or one or the other. But, yeah, I'd love this since it's definitely agitating when a show gets cancelled before the conclusion is revealed.
Creating relationships with any other human. EVERYONE you know is lying to some degree. No one truly lets "themself" out to be judged or loved not caring about the consequence. World would be better if we all stopped pretending
