I’m from the U.K - Wales .. I always search for your reaction to this song, hours away from each other but the beautiful part about the internet is that i can tell you how beautiful you are and how much I love your reaction to this video, it’s my favourite ❤xx
I believe she is 13 here. Her and her family are from Ukraine. They now live in Los Angeles. Her entire family is very talented. Her six year old brother now plays piano when she performs.
As a normal crowd, I get that you paid tickets to listen to an artist sing. Like you gotta get what you paid for. But us Filipinos, we just wanna sing the song with the artist.
As you say; this is the love we need to spread ❤️ I’m Norwegian and this speech makes me bawl my eyes out every time. Really appreciate your point of view! Our king is a special man. A leader of our time. This should be the whole world. Norway is one. The world is one!! ❤️ Thank you!
Karolina is part of a very musical family but really is exceptional herself. Her mum is Russian, her dad is Ukrainian and she moved from Ukraine to USA when she was 6. She took up music soon after the move. Her brothers were both born in USA. She's very clever.
А скільки ж таких талановитих діток загублено окупантами росіянами в Україні, вбито, бито, зґвалтовано та скалічено російськими варварами. Моліться за Україні та за її життя❤️🩹. Дай Боже всім дітям світу мирного неба

Great reaction, and you are right. This song was not suppose to end right there. I was always left wanting for more. But those songs are few, unique and timeless.
When the union with Sweden ended, our present king's grandfather, born Prince Carl of Denmark, a younger brother of the Danish king, was asked wether he would accept the Crown of Norway. He responded ; "If the people of Norway elect me, I will" So they did. He changed both his and his son's names. Carl became Haakon. The 7th in the row of Norwegian kings, since the Viking times. His son and only child Alexander, born Prince of Great Britain and Denmark, was renamed Olav. Later Olav the 5th... Olav's mother Princess Maud, was a direct decendant of Queen Victoria. She became Maud, Queen consort of Norway. Olav married his Swedish first cousin Princess Märtha. Sadly she passed away before she could be Queen consort. Olav and Märtha had 3 children. 2 daughters, Princess Astrid, (mrs Ferner) and Princess Ragnhild, (mrs Lorentzen). Both married commoners, so got a surname added to their titles. The son, Harald, insisted upon marrying a commoner as well. He'd refused the European princesses from several principalities and kingdoms. Miss Sonja Haraldsen was the one. Or noone ! Some decades later their son, Crown Prince Haakon Magnus, put his foot down in the same way. His choice of partner and future wife, was a single mother and commoner. Her name is Crown Princess Mette Marit. Neé Tjessem Høiby. I should mention that the kingdom of Norway is different amongst European kingdoms, as we've long since chucked the nobility. So no peers. No barons, earls or dukes... Just the people and the Royal family. This has created a closer bond between us commoners and our king and queen. Most Norwegians considers King Harald the 5th as our mutual honorary grandfather... 👑 🇳🇴

This musical is about a Swedish family leaving Sweden to go to America in hopes of a better life. Kristina (Helen's role) sings this song after she just miscarried and gets told by the doctor that she can never again become pregnant or she will die. Her children and her husband is everything to her. She has always been devout and now all of a sudden she feels as if she is losing it all and God is doing nothing about it.
This song is not about her still believing in God, it's about her starting to question God's existence. At least that's the way I hear it. Part of the lyrics go something like "Never before have I spoken it outloud or thought of it, that little word which frightens and plagues me so. That word is 'if'... If all of my prayers were pointless. If you don't exist, then what should I do? Who would comfort me, and then give me forgiveness? Peace of mind/soul, well, who would give me that? Who would comfort me? I'm so small on the globe/earth (she means she's unimportant in the whole scheme of things or something) If you dont exist, who will care for me later? No, you MUST exist..." And so on. To me, this isn't a ringing endorsement of the Christian god.
