This hurts. I was supposed to go. Had the tickets and everything. But we had to cancel for medical reason. It would have been my first ever concert too! I also started listening to I prevail to be ready for that day and now I love that band too!
STP - 8/23/24 from the heart So I’ve been a fan for 30 years. I’ve never written a review on a live show, until now. Why tonight? I was moved. Honestly, I felt something authentic; I felt rock music for the first time in years. Experiencing STP live, if you grew up with them, It’s impossible to dismiss the absence of Scott Weiland. If you’re truly a fan of the lyrics, the music and the rock ‘n’ roll that the Stone Temple Pilots deliver, there is no despair. Jeff, the manufactured lead singer of STP will never be Scott Weiland. It didn’t matter. He’s captivating, inspiring, polished and a true rock star and deserves the pedestal he achieved. Jeff brings as much energy, charisma and talent as anything you’ve ever seen live. And, he compliments the band without the accoutrements that Scott Weiland brought. They flow, they jive, and they’re fearless. I credit the DeLeo’s for their wisdom and foresight. I witnessed greatness tonight. The Stone Temple Pilots were great as ever in the 30 years I’ve been a fan. Tonight I was brought back 30 years to a time of my life when rock and roll meant something. The only criticism I have is this…. The lead singer is so good that he makes Scott Weiland’s job seem effortless. He does it so well that it’s not even a challenge and you can tell. Overall, after watching the Stone Temple Pilots tonight, I couldn’t have been more pleased. Jeff has mastered it. I take pride in my taste of music and after experiencing Stone Temple Pilots tonight they will remain a top five rock ‘n’ roll band of all time. Fun fact for anyone who wasnt there: if I remember correctly this was the song that someone pulled a fire alarm or something and it messed with the audio so a lot of people couldn't hear it
HELL YEAH!!! HALESTORM is AWESOME!!! I had tickets to the show...woke up with and abscess tooth and couldn't go........I'll catch em next time!!!! Hope someone posts the whole show soon!!
The crowd on all these live videos I've seen has been absolutely terrible! C'mon people it's ALL THAT FUCKING REMAINS and it's their first tour in like 5 years they deserve some gnarly ass pits and a crowd that actually vibes to their music!
I was off more the right side of the stage (behind you in this recording) so I couldn't see this part well with all the hands and cameras up haha. Cool seeing it close up
