Love how excited Jimmy is at his thrift purchases. “We” forget that he is exploring his thrifting skills now that t he is retired and on to his new job.
Oh my gosh- I loved all of the Coca-Cola items! I collected vintage Coca-Cola for years. I even had an old Coca-Cola cooler built into my kitchen island & a vending machine in my kitchen. My boy’s friends loved coming over when they were growing up so they could get a coke out of the cooler or machine. I have since sold that house & downsized, but I loved it for many years.
Those little cedar chests were high school graduation gifts from Lane to women in the 60’s. Encouraging buying full size hope chests I still have mine - special letters, photos, some jewelry
Jimmy you should start your own RU-vid channel..... I think we would enjoy you and your wife searching for treasures at yardsales, thriftstores etc...😉
When I was little my dad had a little country store. He had a chest type coke cooler with water in it. My brothers and I would stick our arms in it to see who could leave it in there the longest 😅. I never won, that would ALMOST freeze me out 😂. I just remembered that when I saw all the coke machines. Such a nice memory ❤
So you had 😂 edit out Kate’s French find? Probably something risqué. Not suitable for a family audience. I like her purple pig! I’d put it on my vanity to hold my makeup brushes. The Murano is a trash can?! I thought it was a huge vase. Looked pretty good on Lucas’s head. Total Lost in Space vibes!
I just love Macy’s laugh. It’s so joyful. I also love seeing Kate in action. You know she has found something special if she’s sitting on the floor.😂 xo Edit- I so wanted to see Kate’s 3rd piece. It was obviously something risqué because you didn’t show it 😂
You’re always surprised that the old Tupperware sells consistently. But I think the old Tupperware was much better made than the newer things. It never wears out if you take care of it
Hello everyone from Arizona Question: Do people rent out spaces and sell their antiques? Is that how it works? When a customer wants to buy something but still looking around does the chosen item go in the sold box or do they pay before it goes to sold box? Y'alls antique store has officially made it on my bucket list. ❤❤
Yes, people (vendors) rent out a space to sell their antique, vintage or other items. As far as the sold bins go, I believe the items are put in the sold box as the customer shops & finds things & then they are paid for all at once when the customer checks out (this is how it worked at the antique mall I used to work in, at least). Hope this helps! 😊
