I had a breakdown in 1986, at the age of 12, i heard the track move away and loved it, i got a lot better after that, i was worried about boy george back then im so happy he is safe and well a great guy.i think he started takeing it early 1986 ?
I have never understood this, at 12:18 you can clearly see how the Phililp G Atwell, with a 50 Cent t-shirt, but how this can be possible? This video was made at the end of 1999, and 50 Cent wasn't signed with Shady/Aftermath until 2002, and the Forget About Dre video was shot In LA when 50 Cent was a local artist at NY. Moreover, this 50 Cent logo style wasn't released until his unreleased EP "Power of the Dollar" that was supposed to be released in September 2000 (almost one year after this music video was made) ... so what is going on here??? Please if someone can give me an honest response or opinion, that would be great!!!
So many years later and Em has still the same energy towards Dre . Now put in 50 in mix, what you got? The juggernauts of this rap shit, like it or not . 😎
This looks like it would've been a lot of fun. It's organic. People designing sets and building them. Now it's just the artist in a small room with all green screen, and they're just awkwardly posing and dancing. Then some dude uses CGI and effects.. Don't get me wrong I love new tech but it just goes to show how much technology has changed us over the past 30 years.
I dont like how they placed the band members in the bg behind a piano. Im sure Boy George and the other members agreed! Boy George probably fought the network to even SHOW them; o guarantee he made sure they had questions being directed from them- so it wasnt just about Himself
The thing that made Culture Club, beyond the shock and eye liner is that they embraced the traditional composers of the 1960s like.Burt Bacharach and company.
