I was in A5 for 30 years! Now I just want tiny planners (because my life is quite boring, except for the list of prescription medications and doctor visits!) It has been fun acquiring Chic Sparrow covers in all the sizes! Maverick and Avalon are my favorites!
Wow! I wish I could stick with a planner system that long; that’s so awesome 🤗 I agree that it’s a lot of fun acquiring the Chic Sparrow covers of your favorite leathers. I’m hoping to get the maverick/scout ones in all the sizes I love using. Only a few more to go!
I love ur maverick! I have the a6 in “July”- it has a red tone. But I think I want the brown as well lol. I have the pocket in brown, but urs looks more spacious. Is it the pocket plus maybe?
The July leather is really beautiful 😍 I don’t believe this is a pocket plus; I believe the pocket pluses have 6 strings and this only has 4 (I could be wrong though!).
I've been in a pocket travelers since May and, like you, I don't see myself switching anytime soon. I popped over to Lauren Phelps to check out that clear cover, but the pocket is sold out. If there's a restock, I'll definitely be picking that up. I also found a little something for my standard travelers. Great video!
Thanks so much! I feel like pocket is the perfect portable size while still having enough space to do what you need to in it. Hopefully LaurenPhelpsDesign does a restock soon; the cover is so nice to have!
Pocket size is such a fun little size to carry around! 😄 If you can find the dashboards, I would love to have them! I can send you over some money or some cute journaling supplies in exchange for them if you’re interested 💕
Is this the same size cover as Chic Sparrow calls their Personal/B6 Slim/B6? The don’t have a standard one in their options. Or is it the narrow one? Could you measure yours and send me dimensions?
Thanks for sharing! I have been in bulky A5 Discs or Rings Planners for decades, but now I want to downsize into something more portable, focused on function, not decoration, so I love seeing how people set up monthly/weekly/etc. layouts in smaller sizes!

I was so excited to learn I could repurpose them because they are too pretty not to use! Archer and Olives are really good for just about anything you throw at them, which is neat. I am able to use my fountain pens in there no problem and painting and such too they hold up really well for. Definitely recommend if you are in the market for a sturdier notebook!
I love your little planner! It isn't quite true pocket size (5.5 x 3.5), but who cares. It is so nice! I love that Monet painting! I did a diamond painting of it, glued it together, framed it, and have it on the wall in my office. Have fun with it!

I buy it already cut down from LittleTNStickerShop on Etsy! She will cut them down to the size you want and ship it out to you. I’ve ordered multiple notebooks from her like this and they are always so well done! Highly recommend her shop 🤗
It’s so funny to me because I can start my weekly pages out with Monday start no problem and that makes total send to me, but put it as a Monday start in the monthly and my brain does not compute 😂
Great post! It seems that 2023 was full of chaos for a lot of the community.That green cover🤩! I have a Moterm in olive green, but yours is a beauty! Also I loved that your top matched. 2024 will be my first year taking a chance on the Hobo Wks Mega for everything but journaling( do that in an A6 Stalogy). I've been practicing in one of the 2023 Weeks that I over-bought this year. BTW, my go-to pen for the Weeks is a Muji 0.38. Slight ghosting, but I got over that. TFS!

It does seem like there was a lot of chaos all around this year 🥴 Olive green is one of my favorite colors 😍 But I love green of any kind haha I journaled in an A6 for a while and really enjoyed it, but I am excited to have my planner and journal all in one for next year! What's overwhelming about the blank page for you, personally? Stickers overwhelm me. They feel more finite. Once youve used it its gone and it cant reallt be used... And then, i only ever like SOME of a sticker packet then what do i do with the rest?? I end up just smearing colour over it all. Like, watercolour. Its VERY low skill. But it feels arty and i like that! And i like you can do your monthlies on only one page, rather than on a spread! My writing is just huge... I wish! Lol.
Personally I think the blank page overwhelms me so much because I can be a bit of a perfectionist and if I don’t get something *just right* when I’m doing something, it makes me want to give up on it completely. I LOVE that idea of using the watercolor on the pages! That seems like a great and easy way to get something on the page and it’s simple to do 🤗 Stickers do overwhelm me a bit too; I totally get what you mean by being more finite!
I only use monthlies anymore for planning! I find I really like having the whole month to view things when making plans/to dos so I can see what I’m working with better 😊
Hi! The Stalogy paper to me seems very smooth, but I have heard some people tell me they feel a little bit of teeth to it. I’m not sure if it depends on the pens you are using or not. If you are using regular gel pens or ballpoints the paper is really smooth. If using fountain pens is when I’ve heard it can get a little bit of teeth to it, though I personally haven’t experienced that before ☺️
I too have a light colour Planner and when I saw your video I just went and cover my planner with transparent cover 🥰 Thanks for giving me such an idea 🙏🤗
I am such a sucker for these “what’s in my…” vids. I love your couch bag video too 😊 This is a pouch I’ve been looking at for a while now, I’m so glad you did this. I’m still on the fence about getting one, but dang these bags are hella worth it!
I am so impressed with how much stuff this pouch can hold!!! And those sticky notes from Walmart are adorbs, especially the Daily Routine ones! How are the adhesive on those? Thanks for sharing this with us!
It can hold a lot!! The adhesive seems to be pretty good on the sticky notes so far. I believe they are a post-it note brand sold under a different name at Walmart, so the quality is pretty good!

Ooh, I've been looking at the deep teal Moterm covers for my Stalogy! Seeing yours makes me want it even more. In person does it look lighter than what's caught on camera? I want a nice eye catching / different color for my Stalogy haha. Thank you for sharing!
If I remember correctly, it was a tad lighter in person than it is shower up on camera, but not by too much. It was a beautiful cover! I no longer have it because I ended up not liking the snap closure (I’m definitely more of a travelers notebook gal), but if you are thinking about getting one, I say go for it! I LOVE the color!!
@journaltimewitht1259 Oh I totally get it, I really like a traveler's notebook style too. Hm, that's a good point I'll have to think about it. Did you try to train the snap closure to lay flat? Or is it pretty much impossible. 🤔 But yes I agree the color is so pretty! Shame they don't make a TN version for B6. Thank you for replying!
It's funny how journals turn out not to be right for us and we switch. I have done that too a number of times over the years. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. Thanks.
