Can you draw or explain the wiring ? the pickup is connected to the Pot and then to the amp plug ? any caps or resistors involved other than the potentiometer ?
those ceramics sure are low output. maybe its time for some cheap amazon pickups or some 40-65$ ebay sets to at least be a competition. so many good budget pickups out there.

Each unit of measurement is named after a famous experimenter in electricity: The amp after the Frenchman Andre M. Ampere, the volt after the Italian Alessandro Volta, and the ohm after the German Georg Simon Ohm.!!!
Bloody hell ya a bit knit picky for $59 , not sure why you would worry about the scratch plate neither because you could still drop a good set of wiring/pups and pots into the one it came with.
I've decided I'm going to stick with the scratch guard this came with and not fill and re drill. I'll sound test with the original pickups first and then try some replacements. Cheers!
@@ellsworthrdproductions9611 Man I wouldn't even worry about the cheesy pups it comes with...We all know the work involved in making them sound half decent isn't worth the time or effort. I've had my Squire Affinity for 4yrs and surprisingly enough I've never looked under the scratch plate to see what's there but I will be next string change as the 5-way has sadly turned to shit...they are all cheap as chips but the build quality was better than some Fenders I've seen. Mine came out of Indonesia not China which seems to produce bad ones and I'm a bit sus on those pups of yours that say Fender on them , are they just stickers on them?
Like... is it intentional that at least 70% of the stuff you said in the first 18 minutes was a sexual innuendo of some kind? If yes, I loved it :D Makes it refreshingly different from other videos where they built a guitar :D
I’ve always been fascinated by the inner workings of electric guitars. Do you guys have a shop off Ellsworth somewhere? I’m in the market for a new guitar + setup.
Hi there! I don't have a storefront. I work out of my home shop set up. I was based off that road but now I am in Florence. What sort of style of Guitar are you looking for? Email me at ellsworthrdproductions@gmail.com if you like. Thanks!
