I enjoy exploring Britain's 'green roads' by motorcycle in a legal, lawful and responsible way.
I publish trail footage where vehicular rights of way subsist at the time of filming. I support adherence to the Countryside Code and mutual respect amongst other users of public rights of way.
I support TRF and TET:
www.trf.org.uk/ transeurotrail.org/
I have used ContourHD, Contour+ and Contour+2 cameras for recording, Satmap Active 10, 12 and 20 GPS/ViewRanger with OS data for navigation and Adobe Premiere Elements 8, 12 & After Effects for digital video editing, enhancement and manipulation.
Please contact me via RU-vid for commercial enquiries and do look out for me on the byway!
Just bought my first adv this year, I've lived near these lanes all my life and never even cycled up them. I've only owned road bikes til now, but I am really enjoying learning to ride a motorbike all over again. Cheers for these videos it helps my confidence 👍
Gonnna be honest the bullshit gatekeeping of the trf fucks me off. I het that they do good for the upkeep of trails and such . But i feel you try to keep the trails to yourselves . Yeh i could buy an ordance survey but theirs already people who done thebwork to digidtise so why not share freely?
Why do you need to ride your horrible motorbikes on England's green and pleasant land, they're noisy and rip holes through the soil into the bedrock below leaving mud pits? You're young enough to walk or ride a horse or mountainbike. A mountanbike will do 60 miles offroad in a day without frightening the horses and spoiling the day of other countryside users, so why use a motor? Ordinance Survey maps are sometimes wrong, BOATS and ORPAs get closed to motor traffic. There was no BOAT or ORPA marked at this otherwise well marked location. Why didn't you show the map on this video for us to do any more than take your word for it. You may have been in the wrong place!
Rather misleading to title a video as “a drive through pewsey” when only the final 3 minutes is actually in pewsey. Most of this clip is actually Marlborough.
Pity that some people who don’t stick to the rules get vehicle accessibility to these lanes stopped, if we all took care and signs explaining who can use them and rules maybe more would routes would be reopened.
Is the itunes version of this the true version - genuine question - would like to download but want to make sure I’m getting the true masterpiece - Tia 🙏🏻 x
Why was this grim. He was polite and respectful asking something simple. It may have been common sense to you but some idiots on bikes wouldn’t have thought to do what he politely asked for. I agree that the fact you shut you bike off and waved them through should have given him an idea you did already know but why be so disrespectful. Made yourself look like the other idiot riders you deem to stand high above of.
My mate got his car discovery stuck in there 2 years ago. Never again. We were stuck for about 5 hours before someone came to the rescue. It's called "The Trough" It's the pit of dispair for anyone attempting it, I've only once seen someone make it through it, and they smashed up the side of their car.
They practiced the DDay landings on this beach. Theres a massive concrete wall behind where you stopped with a series of blown out holes. Its where the combat engineers were practicing different methods of breaking through the defences of the Atlantic wall.
I was searching to understand about the TRO in place on Monks Trod and found this video, I can now appreciate why a TRO is in place from seeing the random bog ditches that would cause vehicles to get stuck or make the track wider in finding an alternative route around them.
