Welcome to the channel where "The Finals" becomes the beginning of an epic journey of... well, let's call it "strategic learning" (because "constantly losing" sounds less cool). Here, you'll find gameplay that's more about exploring creative ways to not win.

Exactly what I am thinking. They really kept hitting it with the nerf hammer tot the point it’s just not viable anymore. The 93R is my main go to weapon funnily enough. Not sure why everyone is hating on it
I'm just getting back into the game having not played it since release and this was the best vid I've seen at summarizing where all the weapons are at. Deserves more views than the other shit I've watched. Good job.
Glad you addressed the dual blades needing work. I would like to say make the swing speed just a little faster. And then deflect needs a little buff. I get it’s not supposed to reflect everything, but a little more would be perfect
The mgl is probably one of the most underrated weapons in the game, this weapon can win games on its own when other top tier guns struggle, especially strong with c4 and getting the cashout drop.
What if I told you the 93r had enough damage and bullets in the mag to kill 2 lights and 1 medium in one clip and 1 heavy and 1 medium before reload if it gets a buff it'll be too strong i think all it really needs is a sight and a slightly bigger magazine but it low key slaps if you hit all the bullets per burst
I mean, you’re prolly on to something here. Grain of salt my video as it’s impossible to truly get past our own biases, and likely I just had a sour taste of the 93r since its launch and haven’t really given it a truly solid try since…
I had some really good games with the 93r, it can be surprisingly effective, mainly I struggle with the 21 ammo, not even the damage. The 93r has actually very good range stats even better than xp54
OH WHAT AN AMAZING THUMBNAIL. TROLL ME SOME MORE. EMERALD FCAR WILL NEVER COME TO LIGHT. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP CLICKBAITING WHILE YOU'RE SMALL. lol
I think you are wrong with the placement of the MGL like the revolver they are both higher skill gap weapons like the revolver anyone can pick it up but they will feel they lose most to all gun fights withs but once you learn the weapons in and out and you understand how to aim with them and whats best to pair with them they are both very efficient and high dmg. I am a MGL main and with a stack team or just a team comp with someone who is fast as cleaning up kills or someone who lays down lots of dmg is a great combo with the mgl its good at stalling and wasting M heals bc of the area of dmg and you get decent dmg with it making the enemies usually just a few shots for your team8s or you clean it up with the mgl after your team lowers their health.
So I am basically saying I think both the MGL and Revolver both should be in the specialist list instead. I think most weapons are usable but the 3R is the worst in the game since it came out and it sucks bc I love the gun but anyways dual blade are bad but I could see them coming back if they fixed the deflect problem they do a decent amount of DMG and with the 3rd swing you do a lunge that almost covers the same DMG as a lights dodge learned this not to long ago I never really used swords too much. I also feel that it shouldn't be as much chip DMG back to you from deflecting so I think if those two things fix the deflecting in general and lower the chip DMG you take when deflecting and maybe up the deflect amount but not needed I don't think and dual swords would start to be used by a hand full of people like sword and dagger players having another melee specialization that could be insane in the right hands.
Tbh I really like revolver but it accuracy is shit while hip fire if they make no need to downsight while shooting it will be good other then that damage and every thing is pretty good
Just crouch, lol. Pretty accurate in close quarters and outside of that you don't need to exit ADS, I think the range on revolver should be buffed and it's gonna be much more viable
I disagree with the placement, it's a worse Pike but you're comparing it with one of the best guns in the game. The 2x HS modifier makes it melt heavies, killing heavies with 2 HS and 1 regular hit. You might say that the Model also kills heavies in 3 hits but that's comparing it with another S tier weapon. Like no way I'd believe that the revolver is worse than the riot shield.
Yea revolver has always been one of the highest skill gap weapons if you don't got the aim for it you'll be out gun by almost everything else but if you can hit headshots decently it can be one of the fastest to kill weapons. @@septiarizqyrenaldi2038
@@septiarizqyrenaldi2038 you don't need god level of aim. Let's take me for example I am doing good with pike and r.357, but can't really play with akm, fcar and even lh1
@@GunBuckGamingsounds like it deserves specialist status from the light biased content creator. Nah but fr I want people to keep saying it’s bad so it gets buffed and yall gunna pray for the nerf to come.
@@GunBuckGamingyea I love seeing videos on this game from people Iv never seen or heard before great video man I do have a few disagreements but it was generally a good video. Maybe I'll see you in game one day! Lol
Lights need to be canonically removed from the game show. Nobody likes them, not even other light mains. No no no no no no. Medium losing defib is dumb. Do not do that.
Game is in the worst state it has eever been, balance wise. Before this seasons, two out of the three classes were played competitively. Now all that's left is the medium heal/defib ciirclejerk. The same problems have been prelevant since s1, most of them on medium. But what did embark do about it? That's right, they nerfed the sniper for light. For no reason whatsoever. They admitted light sucks and the sniper is far from op. But wait, there's more. Next they added the pike - a way better sniper for the already meta class. But wait, there's more. Next patch they "nerf" the pike and admit it will still dominate in most cases, lmao. Some insane mental gymnastics are happening at emark and I want whatever they are smoking so I can do a subpar job at work and get praised for it.
@@Foghorn925 ah yes, very skilled, very argumentative. You must be one of those low iq nabs that can't kill the sniper and complained. Hope they nerf your precious medium so you can't meta abuse anymore and actually l2p. 😂😂
people love to complain. Besides high ranked play, it doesnt matter, game is fun. Also dont look up Patchnotes for any game by now. If theres something really off, you're going to feel it during play anyway
I've got to be a bit contrarian about the balancing in the game. Currently I think the game is very DPS balanced at the moment, with lights being able to take heavies head on and still have a chance to out DPS them, unfortunately I think this inadvertently makes heavy alot weaker than he used to be as he doesn't have the movement or sheer combat utility that light has which makes him just more viable than heavy. Sure this is balanced by the fact that Lights are really bad at objective stealing, but all this does is encourage people to simply ditch the objective and just wipe the entire lobby with kills which leads to poor team coordination and less fun non-ranked matches. As an ex-heavy main I think they just need a bit more love with some more interesting/versatile gadgets instead of 2 shield types, and RPG being the only non-niche gadgets he can use. Though my perspective might be skewed as I rarely play ranked so if anyone has some opinions to share I'd love to hear them! (edit: I just had to get this off my chest but going against the CL-40 is just really unfun, they can just spam shots down a corridor or room and there is really little counterplay to it as heavy since he doesn't have height gadgets to let him avoid the grenades)
I appreciate your opinion, although I have a different one when it comes to light vs heavy. My personal feeling is that in a completely balanced situation for a light and a heavy, if both sides hit their headshots, a light dies faster. Of course, that's exactly where the strength of a light lies: using its mobility to create situations that give you an advantage, for example through moments of surprise. But sometimes that's just not possible, for example if you've fought against someone else before. You said the game is DPS balanced, meaning all classes have roughly the same DPS, well then it's obvious that a light with 150 health will die faster than a heavy with 350. My personal opinion is that Light himself isnt op, what makes him op is the use of moments of surprise, which are countered by things like explosive mines, shields, grouping, etc.
@@Samy.x Agree with this. Light is just today's TF2 Scout, has the capacity to be frustrating because good players make you feel like you can't fight back, but most lights are easily dispatched.
Honestly you’ve got a pretty good take. When I said I thought the meta was in a pretty good spot, I was thinking about weapons only, not the overall macro of the game. I shoulda specified.
All of heavy’s gadgets can counter the grenade launcher if you know how to use them. The self damage is pretty high (normal damage is max of 100 against others, self damage is max 160). Shield is pretty self explanatory, you can block 8 shots back to back meaning you can wait for 5 shots and then shoot back when they’re reloading and you can block up close to get them to blow themselves up, goo can do the same but from afar if you can hit your shots while allowing you to close the distance and grapple can put them at point blank where they blow themselves up 9/10 times.
I agree, people complain when Light is too good and people complain when Light isn't viable, so bumping the team utility would be great honestly, buff glitch nades, nerf glitch traps a bit, etc. Also personally i think a lot of the power of Medium relies on the Defib, so nerfing that (for example by taking half damage when you're "uploading" after getting defibbed, or making the charge-up time 3-4 seconds instead of 0.7s) might make the class balance a lot better in general imo.
I agree with you, but no one would use a defibrillator with a 4 second charge up time because it would be useless at that point. There is also the charge time after you defibrillate someone until they are fully revived. I would rather get other utilities with this type of change because resuscitation without a defibrillator only takes 5 seconds.
The weapons are ok. The cl 40 does not need a nerf because it’s a grenade launcher as it sounds. The game is unique on its own, what they need to buff is the 93r and that’s pretty much it
That's wild to me, The Finals performs smoothly for me unlike warzone which stays having server issues and fortnite which persistently drops fps every season update.
and the pike sawed off dmr and cl40 can kill a heavy well before they can react how is that a good balanced state of play when heavy cant even come kinda close
just look at the pick rates no one whats to use heavy cause they got one good gun and the 50s suck if u drop headshots or miss entirely which with every goin light medium is very probable regardless of skill
That’s for long range. For melee, sledgehammer still slaps. The Lewis gun is a hard hitter but the recoil is heavy in which it makes sense. Heavy has its uses and it’s useful
the pike needs a nerf big time u gotta play more pike and dmr need far less range plz play heavy for a day or two ull see what im sayin as well as the cl40 it needs a big nerf
