I've scoured RU-vid looking for decent versions. This is the best outside the film. The ladies dresses are not overloaded with fabric. The scenery establishes setting without looking cluttered. The dancers are well spaced out so we can see their form and movement and the choreography itself is snappy without looking overly B'way. Great job.
Such an amazing song unfortunatly preformed in a boring way with no amazing dance, movement, loads of music, a lot of singing, a lot of smiles and an amazing super show. This song should be performend in a way it is unforgettable!! This was not enought, I am very sorry. I am dissapointed. A lot.
You can make such a great choreogrophy to this, this is a super dance song also! I am very dissapointed. When this song comes, this is like you never forget this music again! It will play in your head for years. No, this was not enought for this song.
This is my favorite song from the musical, and this troupe knocked it out of the park. The way more - and more - and more people just keep coming out onto the stage and the everything builds and builds ... sure, some of that was the composer Jerry Herman, but the staging here is just wonderful!
I’m very familiar with the score and the libretto and I loved this rendition by these VERY talented actors - but I felt the mic/sound system was in need of some slight adjustments. Did anyone else feel that as well? (I’m sure the vocals were clearer in person in the theater than in this recorded version.)
Lighting director here, came for inspiration. I definitely love some things, but the chaotic spotlight follow in the beginning is just so weird I don't like it. Main director wants to do the same thing though, I can't override.
