SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO is a one-hour weekly series, featuring Emmy Award-winning personality Steve Harvey as host. Set to debut during the 2017-2018 season, it is a reimagining of the classic talent showcase series.
Featured in the series are elements from the Apollo’s legendary Amateur Night - the long-running, live talent competition, now in its 82nd year - which provides a platform for up-and-coming artists to perform in front of the toughest audience in the world. The Apollo audience is famed as one of entertainment’s most boisterous and brutally honest, and those amateurs who don’t win them over must endure the wrath of this notorious crowd. __________________________________

He actually got hired to play the villainous Ragdoll in CW's The Flash (2014-2023), where he appeared in two or three episodes. In the comics, Ragdoll is the name of three separate villains who can do what Troy James can actually do. He played Peter Merkel, the very first Ragdoll, in The Flash.

When he stepped up in front of the glass he was like um okay you know what I should test out the glass before starting just to see if it is safe but instead of myself alone test the glass I just going to go ahead and let my barefeet test it out for me after saying that I was expecting for him to lift up his bare left foot and then say okay barefoot test out the glass and then I was expecting for his barefeet to be like yes sir and then his barefeet would be like okay your all set to go nick I also was expecting for him to use a single toe on his left foot to test it out.
I remember watching SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO...."The AUDIENCES, there, were difficult to PLEASE...., YOU REALLY had to be GOOD, to get their APPROVAL. "LOL!"
Amateur Night at the Apollo is by far the best $25 you can spend on live entertainment in NY. So much fun, the room was throbbing with energy. It was the highlight of my visit 4 years ago and looking forward to bringing a NYC newbie in March 2022. Stay healthy!
