the first time I saw this band, was on the “in between bands” VHS tape broadcast at The Continental. The Continental, Buffalo NY, taped MTV’s Headbangers Ball and 120 Minutes, and then used it as video music filler in between live acts. Screen would go down over the band stage, and the videos would start, while the band set up, and the screen would go up when the band was ready to play. Super fun setup. Anyway, this “band and video” played while I waited one night, and no one knew who it was (lol, the tape cut off the band and the song name!!), I went to Record Theatre to find out who it was, and the guy at the register told me the band and that “Recipe for Hate”, wasn’t at that store yet, but he pointed me to their catalog and I walked out with “Suffer” and “Generator”. After that day. Bad Religion. I. Was. Fucking. Hooked bro.

Marina Sirtis is one of the most vapid actresses to "grace" the screen. Meanwhile, Christina Hoff Sommers is smarter than the whole panel COMBINED. I wanted to see Greg say something profound, but I think he's just as bitchmade as Maher. Should I roll my eyes or facepalm? Jeebus H Criminey, these ppl suck.
I always loved how Brett stood in the same place with Greg, like you were forced to be made aware that this was a two man songwriting powerhouse backed by one of the greatest rhythm sections in the genre.
The fundamental problem is that males need their movement too... If we can't break the structures of gender roles we can't fix this mess! Women should dress "manly" if they want too without being frowned upon the same as men should be able to wear a pink dress if they choose too. Feminism is important, the problem is that it's often reduced to "girl power" from both sides. Feminism is for the men too! We need to stop belittling people when they don't behave the way we would expect from their gender!

You know, I agree that toxic masculinity is a big issue, and that its important for young boys to feel okay with showing emotions, but I don't think it should ever be phrased as "be more like this girl" or anything similar. just tell them its OKAY. That's it!
Maybe, just maybe, women have more pressure on them to excel, and ergo perform better. Looking at numbers without context counter productive and sensationalist. This logic would indicate that racism doesn't exist because Asian students outperform white students.
