@@PolyverseMusic It's a great & very thought out filter+ plugin. Just one question, will there be more distortion types in a future update to drive the filters? Like Tube, Tape etc? & perhaps a display on top, that shows how the routing of a filter into another modulates/alters, the way of changing the signal? Thx, for making this plugin better with every update, cheers.
@@dogma_Jo We plan on adding more filter types in the very near future. Some of those filters can be overdriven in various ways and may help you out in getting a similar distortion to the tube or tape style saturation. Please keep in mind that we don't plan on creating emulations of vintage hardware. Our goal is to innovate.
I’ve never had an experience with a plugin similar to that of using filterverse. Usually there is a set thing I use a plugin for (distortion for distortion, etc), like a set key for a set door. Filterverse acts more like master key, able to open all doors - It’s absolutely mind-opening!
@ Polyverse - So, I purchased Filterverse and an am amazed at I can come up with some experimenting... love it! Now, what I would really like to know is where does Supermodal fit in this picture or more importantly do I need it seeing that I have Filterverse?
Thanks for supporting us with the plugin purchase. Supermodal has a unique modal filter, based on 200 surgically precise bandpass filters to emulate the behavior of various resonating bodies. Filterverse doesn't have this type of filter, and we won't be able to include it in Filterverse due to it's complexity and technical limitations. I highly recommend on checking the audio and videos of Supermodal on our page, or download the demo version from the support section: polyversemusic.com/support/
Neat live playing. I know most answers to the usual question would suggest a specific hardware/software audio tool, but I think it should be possible to get close with a vocoder, bitcrusher, and possibly a (granular?) comb filter combo. It'd still take a good bit of experimentation to get the chain order and mixdown and automation just right though.
There is no vocoder or bitcrush effects used here. He uses the real-time polyphonic pitch shifting "Manipulator", and the granular note freezer plugin "I Wish".
Thanks for the feedback. I will forward it to the team. To check how it sounds on your favorite instruments, you can get the demo version of Filterverse from the support page: polyversemusic.com/support/
I'm really in love with Filterverse so far, it's such a unique plugin even when compared to FilterShaper XL. One of my favorite features is the Sequencer and Shape control. I've never seen anything like it! Honestly that little Sequencer is cool enough to be a standalone plugin, I wish Ableton Live's Shaper was this good. Thanks for the new update!
1. I've never seen such a STUNNING PHASER. Star Trek would be proud. 2. The interpolation, S&H and exponential bitcrushing controls on Decimate are EVIL GENIUS level design. Wow. 3. I'm sold. TAKE MY MONEY!
Yeah this sold it for me finally lol watching a video on this plugin. Was avoiding it as long as I could cuz I knew I would immediately want to buy it like I did with Supermodal 😂
Nothing short of amazingness! Thanks again guys for all the incredible effort & such a stunning bit of kit. I have had such a stressful day & this is just what I needed
Perfect showcase as always! - gives a lot of info about the update and plugin in a short time span - and shows me the capabilities of the plugin - but doesn’t encumber me with information either. Very excited to test this out, and super excited to test out your next filters!
