Lastly this new version of the description was updated on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. While the lone “Hi” above I wrote back in early 2016.
pretty cool place, went here last night with a few friends and it was pretty interesting, every opening was for the most part boarded up. The inside had some pretty interesting stuff especially in the cellar area. but overall pretty cool house to explore, sad that it’s seeming to get into worse condition as the years go by
He's a great dancer, but that was the only way a black man could earn a plate of food in the old days! Use the back door only! Republicans win the election, that's the era they want to take us back to!! #VOTEBLUE24 #Kamala2024
@@JamesIrwins78s I wasn’t a big drinker it was just I lost most of my friends to alcohol and they didn’t even though they were ill until the autopsy that scared the crap out of me so I gave up I live a healthy lifestyle just socialised and drank now I can socialise and drink fizzy water 😃👍
Most likely borrowed the name "Snakehips" from Harlem's Earl "Snakehips" Tucker - a 1920's Cotton Club and Connie's Inn dancer who performed with Duke Ellington at the Cotton Club and in the 1935 Ellington film, 'Symphony in Black' - who originally popularized the snakeships dance.
Everything in black entertainment is stolen by white peoples. The despicable people made millions while the blacks got a stripped backlash or hung up on a stake , total obliteration of black history, abused as slaves. So y’all think it’s ok with God the universal sovereign.
WRONG --- Here is another clip where he is shown dancing after a man talks a while about him ....ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oul53elqeuw.html
Thanks, but that’s not actually Ken Johnson. If you’ll read the description on the video here’s what it says: “ This interview was broadcast in 1980, on a TV show called "And The Bands Played On", presented by Gerald Harper. The band playing in the clip is Jack Parnell's Orchestra.” Plus for there to have been footage of that night when the bomb dropped and it surviving, furthermore with it being in color the way it was, is beyond unlikely.
This looks like it could be 2024. All white audience, and happy "negro" entertaining them. Except he is dancing instead of rapping, singing or playing sports...
Pick-Me-Up and Get-Up music for me. I'm sure this is the 1st time I've heard any music from 1923. Great post and Thank You. The turntable is classic too.
This is all the world wants people to know about black peoples past, is that the only things we were successful at was being ‘tap dancers’ and reproducing.🤷🏼
Sorry but this is not the only footage of Ken Snakehips Johnson dancing. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BEj9_t0ns_M.html&ab_channel=Mark1333
Thanks for posting! It's things like this that can make RU-vid be outstanding. What a thrill to discover a new artist (new to me) and at least be able to get a glimpse of their talent. ❤☮🌎
