We got the Key for cheaper than the original price we were quoted for the Internet for the week. Absolutely worth it when you factor in many European ports with tenders. Wouldn't be worth it if we had kids. Depends on the person's situation.
Unfortunate she complained? Please, after 4 months of misinformation, constantly changing cruise times and outright lies, complaints should be encouraged. Are you paid for this “review”?
Hi Steve! It is unfortunate that she was kicked off for expressing her opinions and again we still don’t know what was actually said. Also, we are not paid for anything and cover top travel stories trying to be as factual as possible. Thank you for watching!
@@NavigateWith No matter what, she should be refunded her money and she should have the opportunity to get her luggage back. I don't understand how that isn't clear to everybody no matter what. She paid for a product and it was never delivered to her. On top of that, Villa Vie still has her luggage. That is just wrong!
@@funcampful we completely agree that she should get her money back and didn't know the part about the luggage that makes no sense why they haven't returned that. Thanks for watching.
@@NavigateWith Thank you for your response. Yeah, that is my problem with Villa Vie. They don't want her to be a part of their community? Kind of creepy and strange, but ok. They won't refund her her thousands of dollars for a product they never delivered or give her back her luggage? Just wrong! Absolutely morally and ethically wrong.
The Villa Vie idea sounds good, except--the ship is already 31 years old, so in 15 years it will be quite old by ship standards. Also, the initial sale price sounds good but the monthly maintenance fees are HIGH, a minimum of about $1800 a month per person for the inside cabins and quite a bit more (maybe up to $4000 a month) for the larger cabins. So after 15 years, it would be an investment of around half a million dollars or more depending on the size of the cabin, per person, so double that for a couple! And who knows how much you could sell a cabin for? It will be interesting to follow this journey. I listened to the 'Jenny' interview, she was upset as she had signed on for a 'segment' and was not an owner. The delays meant ports she was expecting to visit were canceled and other things promised were now not being offered or were changed to 'upcharges'. Backroads Tourist has her interviews.
On cruises, I like dressing up but not in formal attire. Living in Florida’s hot and humid climate my husband is reluctant to wear a jacket and I don’t blame him. We reserve formal attire for formal weddings. However, we do dress well all evenings when cruising.
We are so happy we found you two. Your channel is so helpful. We are going on The Beyond to the ABC islands next month. Did you get off the ship in Curaçao?
Why why why does RC ignore the staterooms with every AMP? Oasis staterooms were such disappointment after the awesome public area upgrades! I'm not interested if the staterooms aren't up to THIS DECADE'S standards when the price is higher because of the AMP! And, only go Mexican for a pool snack and it's great! Agree with you that it's not meal-worthy.
Still getting through the video (thanks for uploading, btw!) and I was wondering, I'm about halfway through and I keep seeing this camera crew following you around I was wondering if you're filming some sort of documentary or something? 😊
@@NavigateWith True, haha! And then I heard you say not to mind them and I was like ooop. Lol. I'm new to your channel so I wasn't sure what was going on. Excited to see!
So much love for the Bosty! Thanks for the video, staying here pre-cruise in a couple weeks. Have heard the breakfast is over-priced. Is there a buffet and did you guys get the cruise package? Thanks!
If you have gold status you can get a credit with Hilton. We were just there and I would say the food prices have gone up a lot and we went to other restaurants in the area and did Uber Eats as well.
Calories? That looks like it would be healthy plus small portions. I can't wait to experience Aqua Class, next month (Alaska). Thank you for making the video.
Congrats on your agency purchase! Agree about getting to Europe 3 days before a cruise if possible. We spent 3 nights in Rome before our first Med cruise and 2 nights in Athens before our 2nd. Hubby is a meat and potatoes guy so we go to Rooftop Grill on Celebrity instead of Eden.
What a great video. My husband is on a walker but needs a scooter (any recommendations?). We will be on the Beyond in September for the ABC cruise. Our room is 9233 Can you give me info ShoweBench. My husband weighs 225 lbs. Thank you. I plan to watch more of your videos.
Thanks for the review. We just got off the Celebrity Beyond to the ABC islands this past Sunday, and Bonaire was beautiful. However, I am also handicapped and on a scooter. I found the first few blocks of Bonaire to be pretty accessible, but that was it. Once you got a few blocks off the port, there were a few handicapped ramps. At one point, I had to Hail Mary off a curb. Thankfully, I had a scooter and slowly drove in the street, but it probably wasn't the smartest thing. I have to say the people of Bonaire were friendly, and I felt very safe there. Unlike Curacao, while that port was more accessible, once you got into the city I did not feel as safe. Thank you again for the review.
I'm so glad for this! We're cruising to Aruba and Curacao next fall, and we both use mobility scooters. Thank you! :) I've contacted them about our trip to see if they could accommodate both.
Very good content...BUT too many shots of his face while walking. Would rather see the area as he is walking through, the background, etc instead of his headshot
We are leaving on the Beyond in September. We were wondering about the Eden restaurant. Your video helped us to decide. Can’t wait to go. Thank you for sharing the good news.
I've eaten there twice - once on Beyond and once on Ascent. Great, great food. Enjoy. You can't go wrong. Pricey, but Daniel B. was excellent, as well.
Great vlog, I’ll be there in December and looking forward to it. I just hope they change the music up there.. all of that upbeat rave/club music can get annoying after a while.. glad I’ll have a hideout cabana away from the music lol
Thanks for the comment and watching. The beach is great and the music is mostly contained around the main pool (though the paths also were pumping out the tunes). Have a great trip!
We had a pool view cabana on Beyond in March. We had attendants swarming us and never had to wait for service. I liked having less foot traffic and could see the ocean on the other side of the pool too. I’m a weather geek so I planned our cabana day based on the expected course of the ship relative to the angle of the sun. We like the Beyond configuration.
Great video! We have entertained the idea of renting a cabana. Due to Steve’s MS, we need to find shade for him to sit outside. This looked nice but maybe not. Thx for sharing your experiences with us!
