I have one also, take the front plastic plate of the drive cog/gearbox (3 screws) and check both grub screws are in and tight. One feel out on me and the other was loose causing movement of gearbox and gear slippage. This will strip the teeth eventually

I did the ER HOP with my custom Dmr barrel using just a vice and some metal hand files (with some precision files for deburring) and its not that scary if you're willing to spend half an hour carefully filing...I did it as I wanted to use the 7mm CNC nub in my max hop unit...not only is it working brilliantly...it also flies out to about 90meter at 450fps(368 using 0.3bbs)...I'm an engineer by trade and a tech all my own guns..but it is doable and it does have amazing results...

Thanks a bunch... I couldn't find a screw but what I ended up using was an alen wrench. Metric was loose and wobbled a bit so changed to standard and cut a bit shorter. Fit fairly snug and works like a charm. Just cut it down with a cutting wheel on an angle grinder. Dremel tool would work too, whatever is handy. Thanks again 🤙.
