I bought the app. Here is my opinion. The app works. It takes a photo you upload and tries to create a Genesis 9 head based on it. Here's my only criticism: what makes it similar is the skin, nothing else. When I compared the 'shape' with the others, I noticed it was almost the same shape, no matter the unique features of the person, such as a bulbous or Greek nose. The app doesn't accurately recreate these features; instead, it relies on the skin's shadows to give the illusion of different shapes. The skin is basically the Genesis 9 base skin with some changes in color based on the photo. Is the skin usable? Yes, but I feel it lacks detail and quality. I'll keep experimenting with it, but I've made over 10 photos so far.
For example, Face transfer does not work at all. I own the first version and it stopped working after updating Daz3D to version 4.21. Can you by any chance advise me why it doesn't work?
Just found you channel! Thanks for all the info. DO you by chance have a tutorial or know of one that shows Daz animation from step one to finish. I have only been using Daz for about a month and would like to learn animation but the videos I have found are all way to complex for me to understand. Like I do not understand anything about animation. Thanks so much!
I do have some tutorials for beginners, step-by-step, on animation. All you would have to do is go to my playlist and scroll down to Daz3D Tutorials for beginners. ru-vid.com/group/PLAammXL2mfN4TvZxxXXghSnoYFCycTUz2&si=fBO-YHWGTnLPMwTV

Go to "My Account". 4. Scroll down to find "Serial Numbers". 5. Click on "Serial Numbers" to access your plug-ins with serial registration numbers. remember, to copy the serial number so you can paste it inside Daz 3D and here’s the step once you’re in Daz3D. 1. Open Daz 3D on your computer. 2. Go to the menu bar at the top. 3. Click on "Windows" in the menu bar. 4. Look for the option related to entering serial numbers. 5. Right-click in the serial number field. 6. Select "Paste" to insert your serial number. 7. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the activation. 8. How do you get around previewing daz animations on Gen 8 and above models? Is it very choppy for you? Any tips on making it bearable to make minor adjustments on top of these animations? I run a beefy PC with plenty of ram and a 3090 and as great as Daz is, it definitely is frustrating to work with sometimes.
To improve preview performance for animations on Gen 8 and above models in Daz 3D, try reducing the viewport resolution, using proxy models, and limiting the number of active lights and effects. Additionally, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date and consider adjusting the settings in the Daz 3D viewport preferences for smoother playback.
To separate the head of a MetaHuman in Unreal Engine without masking, you can follow these steps: 1. Open your MetaHuman project in Unreal Engine. 2. Locate the skeletal mesh of the MetaHuman in the Content Browser. 3. In the Skeleton Tree, find the head bone you want to separate. 4. Right-click on the head bone and choose "Detach from Parent" to disconnect it from the body. 5. Adjust the head bone's position and orientation as needed. 6. Save your changes and test the separation in the game environment.
