Ok so I'm buying the new switch which is only 10 bucks if that switch doesn't work its the ignition button you are saying based on the comments and were you able to start the bike with pulling the clutch in because some ppl have said to do that but it's not working
That is for the neutral safety switch. Just had to do this today my bike kept dying when I put it into gear cause I need to replace a relay so I cut the blue wire and grounded it so now my bike always thinks it's in neutral. I would not suggest doing this unless you really have to cause this will allow the bike to try to start in gear which probably isn't good for the bike and scares the shit out of ya when you forget it's in gear and it jumps on ya when you go to start it lol
My 00 r6 also has the same issue. But I already checked the wire, I changed the neutral switch and the neutral light still doesn't turns on. I tried putting the wire directly on chassis and it works. So now I haven't got the brightest idea, what could be wrong in this case. Any clues?
