A boss like this really shows how bad some players really are. A basic and easy mechanic and there are so many people that are Clueless. There are so many people in this community that have other people carry them through these boss fights and missions it's not funny. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of people also that know how to play this game very well. On this build I never even considered trying to take out these orbs with her skills. I will definitely have to give it a try. If it does work as you're saying then four bunnies might make this boss fight much easier during the immunity phase
Maybe I missed something but what about your build keeps refilling your health? Because I noticed when you were fighting the Lightreaper, your health kept going back up after each time you got hit.
Bruh 30k hp is good enough for Ajax, you already tank most damage, being able to enhance yourself to doll out more damage and quickly is far better along with the inate tankiness
@@ultimaballer never said I was an Ajax main just that I think it's unfair that he is the only descendant that I know that has had his abilities weakened even with Hailey making all other bossing builds obsolete
I feel your frustration my man. I was a Ajax main, seeing my 50k HP 130k defence tank with Perma dome get nerfed to 40khp 132k def with a meager 1800 shield aswell as waiting a whole minute to use my dome while it only lasts like 9 seconds 😭 Pretty much just made me completely drop him and focus on Lepic and surprisingly, Kyle is tankier then Ajax now 🤣
I also spent a lot of time on Bunny and maxed her out in my fit of rage over Ajax nerf. Nexon full of shet tbh. "No we won't intentionally nerf any character" Ajax - sorry guys, devs but hurt coz I receive more damage then an entire squad and haven't died once. Byebye BE. ONLY way to do it now is remove BE and use void walk or leave skill mod empty
The ability to pull aggro does not define the term. "Tanky." Being "Tanky" is the ability to take alot of damage and still be able to be in a fight. Not running around hiding from the boss, hoping that he stops aggroing you long enough to recover health.
They need to get their tanking stuff in like. We need a taunt number 1. But number 2 they need to balance the characters man. Fully built Blair ult with skill mod hits for like 7 million and Hailey’s second ability that’s not even a ult hits for 15 million and up!
Esimo has a transcendent mod that taunts enemies...plus Ajax can draw aggro if you use your 2 to engage...they will be more interested in killing you after stun wears off than anyone else. Anyone that plays Ajax just needs to get comfortable with being in the face of the enemy and other players need to distance themselves to lower the chance of drawing aggro to themselves
Im with you on the body enhancement nerf. You lose me at the shield buff. The shield scales thr same but now even shirlds better because it can absorb more if you have resistance
I´m also too sorry to hear this. I just after hard grinding just finnished researching my Ult Ajax so i can try to defeat my second hard boss. I know the game is free to play and the devs can do what pleases but have they even explained why they did this? And they are saying in their infos that they are listening to players. I doubt anyone have wanted this. Seems to be that when they release something good in their updates, next day there will be something bad.
To remove Bunny from top they need to buff drop rates. If I have to run a mission 5-10 times to get what I want, then I wouldn't mind using others, but when I'm on my 60th run and still dont have my drop you better believe I'm using Bunny.
I mean no disrespect to anyone. but Ajax we never a tank and was never meant to be. he DOES have the highest hp - defense out of all Descendants.. but those high HP meme builds made the devs change him to a spread type character.. Ajax does not have AGRO skills so i dont see the stigma that Ajax is supposed to be a "tank" he is a support and a great mobber. im an Ajax main and im doing just fine with gluttony and all content.. he is actually pretty strong now.. HP build is for BAD players.. i support the team in gluttony AND do decent weapon damage with enduring legacy. so please dont get mad at me im just stating that other youtubers led most of yall to believe the MEME high HP tank was a thing. If you jump into a group of enemies you normally become the new target for aggro so actually he does have aggro capabilities you just have to you know get in the face of the enemies
@novaDF6871 Agreed never was a tank to begin with, having a lot of defense, shield, and HP with no way to pull aggro away from team is not a tank. It's a damage sponge.
Ajax is a tank...tanks survive heavy damage as they should and guess what he does that...I get plenty of the aggro in groups because I try to be the closest to the boss so it will most likely target me first. If you want a taunt use Esimo,he has a augment for that
@novaDF6871 have you considered being on the front lines with Ajax? Jump into enemies with his two and boom they mainly want to kill you now after stun wears off. Instead of asking for a taunt just get in the face of enemies. As Ajax you want to be the first to engage enemies or use his two and three to stun and take aggro off of someone else

Until them it is what it is. Go talk to the devs not me lmao. There is not trinity here nor any content that demands it at this time. Also btw I’m betting they’ll nerf Hailey right after the season. They made her so OP and the grind for her so absurd deliberately so players will buy her (add in some BOOB SKINS as the final temptation). Then when it’s over they’ll “balance” saying they never “intended” her to be so OP and half her damage. But we’ll see…that’s just a prediction. I definitely am angry they chose Ajax of all descendants to nerf substantially yet also call it a “buff” with a minority of players I’ve seen still defending such bs

100% agree. Definitely a nerf but I’ve done what I can to compensate. I will say you CAN justify maxing resist now because your shield mods aren’t worth it anymore anyway. Get rid of that and I overwhelming hp. I rebuilt my BE Ajax such that he finally feels good again (not AS good) and a true colossi tank build. You can see how tanky he still with barriers vs. Gluttony. I still prefer BE overall than Life Barrier. @@epitome278 I use all 3 with resist on component too. Resist stacks multiplicatively the same as defense and hp so you need all of them to get the insanely higher 23k+ numbers
@foxnfire6388 the gold ones are a % so the more dmg a boss does the more the gold ones will work, and again all elements are only 1 polarity which is nice. Just know that bosses don't only do elemental dmg with their attacks , it's kind of like how our weapons do elemental dmg where they have their flat damage and a % of elemental
@@epitome278 yes I know I’m saying I use all 3 RELATED resist mods. Also ONLY the golds have the same polarity. The blue and purple all have different ones forcing you to grind way more to have different settings for each
I dont see this as bad, considering his new buffs are good. That and him being a tank well, he really isn't a tank. Their is no agro in the game to get the focus of the enemies so your teammates can nuke. If theirs no agro, then he really isn't a tank. What he does really well is being able to take punishment and dish out high damage. That's the reason i chose him. So i dont have to rely on my allies. When they die, they die, and i continue to battle on. Usually, due to everyone using high damage characters with very low health, i usually just ignore them and let them die, and then they can revive on their own.

Most people don't even know to run his kit. Just learn how to run his kit and your fine. Ajax was never a tank to begin with. Which makes sense of the update he got. If you think this is a nerf then I don't know what to tell you.
@@foxnfire6388that 10% atk increase was just because of the enhanced version of the ability. It's not even related to the mod... so that's not even a buff.
Ajax is a tank character it says so in his description, aside from that a tank character means a character with high defence, health and shields , they dont necessarily need to attract aggro a tank is a character that has higher survivability and a character that buff allies while also protecting them, wat would be wise is that they either adds a taunt or sunm to his kit to draw aggro, i have an ajax and i am doing fine with 12k health and 100k defence,300 shield on my void walk build just use the Brave set.
They did this to balance the resistance because people arent investing on resistance ....also the inversion also has a stat on resistance( 1 on the 5 ) so they want to make resistance as important as health and defence...so this balance is vital...so ajax isnt for damaging tbh his a tank and if he isnt investing into resistance then he shouldnt be tanking tbh.. also they made some of his transcendence better right ? Like he can make it into a spell type perma jump build with void charge ( will be like valby x 2 per skill)....also if people are interested into a bossing build then maybe focus on other descendent instead of a tank
Bull crap dude. Although I rebalanced my build to now add resist indeed, I also had resist before the nerf on similar BE build anyway. Also resist is ONLY good on the last 3 colossi. You can still face tank all other bosses without. And even if you MAX resist right NOW AND Life Barrier…Gluttony will STILL break your barriers fast. I did my best to rebuild. I still like Ajax. But screw the nerf. This was absolutely a nerf. There was a literally a 200k shield build on Ajax too prior to this lol… Then people obsessed with “muh balance! You must grind again too!” come and defense this bs.
@@foxnfire6388 im just saying this so that the ajax main will do the job of playing defensive and not trying to damage when they are not well equip...like u dont want a lepic or gley to be tanking when there is a ajax there thinking he should be doing more damage then both of them in a gluttony fight ....instead of cooling the ajax thinks his enduring gonna carry the entire 4 team against a 150 million hp gluttony when lepic and gley does more then 100 million by themselve and hence no one does the cooling and they lose the fight ....oh i forgot they nerf ajax so he couldnt play defensive cause resistance isnt important in a tank
@@lov.2.g If Gluttony didn’t have the usual bs instant kill mechanics my Ajax NOW could solo him, let alone before when I could stack either 200k shields with instant recovery or 57k hp still with 50k defense and one chill resist module and chill resist on sensor. What was the NEED for this nerf again? Ajax’s were already playing defensively in the fights because they already knew their sole damage was their gun lol. And you don’t really need him even in Gluttony if you just have 3 dps builds with a Luna or Yujin and some coordination. I would I say a good tank/barrier Ajax build like mine definitely still helps though. But Ajax isn’t even needed everywhere else in game. IMO, they should remove the bs penalties now with body enhancement, change the puny “buffs” with his enhanced skills like, instead, remove orbit barrier’s reflect but make it invulnerable so Ajax finally has a consistently reliable defense skill against any boss regardless of their damage, and finally make him draw aggro. THEN he’d be very useful against the hardest bosses in game and almost necessity. Also change the buff for hyper cube to provide a high hp/defense within to justify dps builds staying inside to focus their attacks. Ajax could then just pop the sphere and leave it for teammates while he tanks the boss with aggro and a stronger barrier

Cuz thats how a game implement support ....if everyone does damage then we dont need support...so if u play ur role ,game will be easier..there are way too many descendent for you then to just say "oh this tanky descendent being nerf so i can go offensive on him because i need slot to put for resistance " when in fact u have other descendent to do offence and you can just switch to other descendent if u need to go offence...as for ur stats allocation...that is why they nerf him....if they dont , might as well we dont have resistance ...if the tank doesnt allocate into resistance , do you think offensive descendent will do so ? Think about it

Does anyone know if both orbit barrier and hyper cube elemental resistance are scaled on the character elemental resistance or it's fixed at 100% value and cannot be influenced ?
man . no disrespect brother.. i wish you would of read the patch notes coming up for Ajax for season one.. Body enhancement wont work this way anymore. so this build is a meme build until season 1 dont get me wrong i have this build and i is useless in 4 man play intercept and only good to pick up garbage bunnies lol. the dps builds you got are on point though. sigh 108k defense will net you nothing when mobs are melting you with elemental tick damage. anything over 50k defense are demising returns and waste of stats..

I go in there to easily level up guns n characters. Have 5 crystal catalyst on standby crafted and 7 I need to craft. Easy farm, slightly mind numbing though.
This game does become pretty mind numbing, but that’s why it’s just a game I kinda just mindlessly play while listening to music or a podcast or something.
to be fully fair on everything, this def is still very good xp farm (especially for level 1s). I think the bigger issue with this exact defense mission is that for the 1st half it is noticeably boring. & it ramps up VERY nicely at the half way point...but more often than not by the halfway point (ESPECIALLY if ppl are dying), people just leave. Essentially right when things get fun/good. & the reward waves are WAY too spread out. Idk what the "fix" would be for these but I do think something needs to change to give people incentive to stop quitting. On that note I tend to run the block kuiper mining spec op in Sterile Land. Because the xp is still good. The ad density is high the entire time so it's fun. & you get rewards every 2 waves instead of the long waiting period. Also it's only 10 waves so you are WAY more likely to AT LEAST get a group of 3 willing to stay all the way til the end. The void fragment change they also just made is a good start. But the drop rates are terrible across the board. Those def need to be ramped up quite a bit.
This one is good for XP and ya, those amorphous things. If I need gold though I do the one in White-night Gulch. But ya, this farm is pretty great too especially for XP.
