22 volts per 3 mm thickness is too much, responsible seams without a gap, on MIGMAG do not weld from top to bottom, in the corners finishing the weld is not the right solution, the tightness and integrity of the seams is doubtful

Why didn't they put the single bevel on the side with the butt joint instead? Makes it alot easier to weld without the weld drooping down everywhere. That's what they do at my workplace on those sorta welds. We also weld structural steelwork
Worked a heavy fab shop for a few years we werent allowed to preheat even in the wintertime.Machines were preset not to go under a certain temp.Place was a dungeon in the summertime.
