Pretty sure you commented already, then deleted the comment, which removed our reply. Let's try this again. First, you dropped these scriptures on us: 1. Psalm 50:16 "16 But to the wicked person, God says: “What right have you to recite my laws or take my covenant on your lips?" - That's pretty out of pocket. It seems you are calling us wicked by taking this verse out of context. 2. Psalm 147:19-20 "19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. 20 He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the Lord." - What do you mean by this one? That somehow no one but Israel can know or read God's word? That's for sure not what that verse means. Not to mention the Psalms are not the Law. And Christ said to make disciples of every nation. BUT, this scripture actually is just calling attention to the special relationship Israel has with YHWH. It's not saying we can't teach from it or read it. Back to what we were teaching in the clip: Starts off quoting John 3. "14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”" We're in John 8, where Jesus mentions again being lifted up, hence why the John 3 bit is relevant: "28 So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up[a] the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me." Continuing in John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. And then back to John 8: "24 I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins.” SO. Where's the lie?

I read your description, and i notice two errors according to Scripture. 1. Lord is NOT the Name of the Father nor the Son. Lord means Ba'al in Hebrew. 2. You mention the Holy Spirit. The trinity is not biblical. There is no third person. Our Messiah is clear: Joh 10:30 “I and My Father are one.” No trinity there. When we love and OBEY His Word, we will receive His Spirit. The Spirit of the Father and Son. NOT a third person! Joh 14:23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. HalleluYAH!!!

Took a minute to figure out what was going on with your comment. I believe I've figured it out. From the looks of things, you read the description and commented on two things (which you called "errors according to Scripture"): We said: 1. "Jeremiah calls Judah out for their sin and denial of the LORD." 2. "What is one thing the Holy Spirit is saying to you as you read His word today?" Neither of these contain any errors according to Scripture, and you clearly did not read the passages talked about in the video, nor have you watched the video. So here is a reply: 1. You said: "Lord is NOT the Name of the Father nor the Son. Lord means Ba'al in Hebrew." This is *partially* true. In English translations of the Old Testament, the word "ba'al" or "Baal" is translated as Lord (capital L, lowercase o-r-d). It is a common word used for many things in the Hebrew text, ranging from certain false deities to people with status or power. We look at context to understand whether it's talking about a god that was worshiped by the Canaanites or just someone who is of higher status or class than another. There is also a different Hebrew word that is translated into our English bibles as LORD (captial L, and then small caps O-R-D). When you see LORD in all caps or small caps, that is not a translation of Baal. It's representing the Tetragrammaton, or the proper name of God, given to Moses and used over 6,500 times in the Hebrew texts for the name of God. This word is: STRONGS H3068: יהוה or יַהְוֶה : proper name, of deity Yahweh, the proper name of the God of Israel - also translated Jehovah. So, as in our caption, LORD is how YHWH the God of Israel is addressed in Scripture, including the passage here. The first verse contains it: "“If you, Israel, will return, then return to me,” declares the LORD. “If you put your detestable idols out of my sight and no longer go astray," (Jeremiah 4:1) It appears once in each of the first 4 verses of this chapter, and many more times after that. And then, in verse 10, the NIV reads: "Then I said, “Alas, Sovereign LORD! How completely you have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ when the sword is at our throats!” "Sovereign LORD" is also translated as "Lord GOD" in other English versions. The Hebrew here is "Adonai YHWH". Again, not "Baal", but the name of the God of Israel. *** 2. The Holy Spirit is, according to Scripture, a person and the third member of the Trinity. - John 10:30 does not remove the possibility of the Holy Spirit being a third member of the godhead. Jesus is making a different point about unity of purpose and intent, in the context of His mission on earth being in line with and a direct extension of the will of the Father. - You said, "When we love and OBEY His Word, we will receive His Spirit. The Spirit of the Father and Son. NOT a third person!" THEN you quoted John 14:23: יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. " - - Not sure why you're putting Hebrew names in for Jesus (though I can guess). The NT was written in Greek. - - John 14:23 does not mean the Holy Spirit does not come. If your comment about receiving the Spirit of the Father and Son comes from here, that is a bad understanding of the passage. Ironically, BEFORE AND AFTER verse 23, there are clear statements by Jesus that the Holy Spirit will come and that He is not Jesus or the Father. John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. The Holy Spirit is here referred to as "the Spirit of truth" and is sent BY the Father at the request of Jesus. Then, again, Jesus says this: "25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." The Holy Spirit is the Advocate sent BY THE FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS... Jesus is not talking about himself or the Father here, but a third person. Thank you for bringing up this passage in John 14. It is a solid teaching, by Jesus himself, on the purpose and relationship between the three members of the Trinity. :)

@@paxchristianchurch There is no error in the message of the Scripture. My point is the Name. As far as capital or lower case, there is no such thing in the Hebrew language. Thus the christian Bibles make it their theology and it has no bearing on the truth. It is true that Lord means Ba’al and master. Yet you need to see what Yahuah had to say about that. He warned in Ex 20:7 that man may NOT bring His Name to naught. This happens in two ways. 1. In Judaism, they refuse to say the Name and... 2. Christianity who changes the Name to Lord/Ba’al and Jesus/Zeus. Yahuah warned in His Word that BOTH the Father and the Son’s Name will be taken away: Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it? And that is exactly what the church did by changing His Name to Lord. See for yourself from the KJV: Isa 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: … You see that? Lord/Ba’al is NOT HIS NAME!! Yahuah warned this would happen, see for yourself: Jer 23:27 who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Ba‛al. And that is exactly what the church did and 2 billion christians call Him Lord/Ba’al and believe that is His Name. There is ONLY ONE NAME that saves Acts 4:12. And it is NOT Lord/Ba’al. You pray to a pagan deity. Then you continue to admit His Sacred Name. Yet you claim it is translated to so and so. There is NO need nor are we commanded to translate His Name. That is a man’s thing. Yet the majority od people all around the world call’s our Messiah Jesus in all their different languages, I wonder why? You paly perfectly into Satan’s hand. They believe they call to a translated name, yet they call on the Lord in “English”, Jesus in “Greek” and Satan they honour by calling him by his “Hebrew” name. SO you create a faith where our Father must fit into your ways of believing. He doesn’t work that way. The same happened with the Name of Yahusha Messiah. The name Jesus is NOT a translation. It has no meaning in Hebrew. Yahusha said HE came in the Father’s name(Joh 5:43). There is NO Jesus in Yahuah(YHWH). Yahuah warned us man would take away His Name as well: Act 4:18 And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor to teach in the Name of יהושע. And this was confirmed in the following Scripture, where Yahuah said, His Son comes in His Name and no one will receive Him, BUT they will receive the one who comes in his own name(Joh 5:43). So Yahuah warns you, and you won’t listen. He said if you deny His Name, the door closes: Rev 3:8 “I know your works - see, I have set before you an open door, and no one is able to shut it - that you have little power, yet have guarded My Word, and have not denied My Name. Those who don’t use/know His Name will be judged: Joh 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not judged, but he who does not believe is judged already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only brought-forth Son of Elohim. Yahusha means Yahuah saves, the same Name for One Elohim. Joh 10:30 “I and My Father are one.” Yahusha revealed the Father’s Name to His chosen Yahuah gave to Him: Joh 17:6 “I have revealed Your Name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have guarded Your Word. Yahuah said the in the last days His chosen will know His Name! Isa 52:6 “Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.” So therefore you choose not to be His child, as a result of worshipping a pagan deity, breaking the 1st 3 commands. Ever wondered why you don’t say hallelulord, hallelujesus or hallelugod? Becvause it is not His Name, go read Ps68:4. But we say HalleluYAH!!! Praising both the Father and Son by the only name that saves! HalleluYAHUAH!!!

@@paxchristianchurch There is NO passage referring to the HS describing who He is. All of Scripture describes the Father and who He is, for example: Exo 20:2 “I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. And: Isa 42:8 “I am יהוה, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols. And: Mat 3:16 And having been immersed, יהושע went up immediately from the water, and see, the heavens were opened, and He saw the Spirit of Elohim descending like a dove and coming upon Him, Mat 3:17 and see, a voice out of the heavens, saying, “This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight.” Go and read the book of Hebrews chapter one, and we get a whole chapter explaining who Yahusha is. You will find NONE about the HS! Whenever Scripture refers to the Set Apart Spirit/HS, it refers to the Spirit of Yahuah and Yahusha! You couldn’t be further from the truth, referring to Yahusha pointing to the unity, purpose and intent in Joh 10:30. HE said exactly what He meant. There is JUST a duality in the Godhead, NO trinity. If you like I can give you a whole list with references throughout Scripture referring to ONLY the duality. For example, no reference to getting to know the HS, but Yahuah and Yahusha! Luk 10:22 “All has been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him.” I don’t put in the Hebrew Names, it is called “The Scriptures”, where His Sacred Name has been Restored. You should look into the Restored Name BIBLES, even the KJV has a version. I also use “Restoration Scriptures true Name edition, The Besorah and HalleluYAH Scriptures”. Hmmm … correction. The NT was NOT written in Greek. It was written in Aramaic, which is a dialect of the Hebrew post the Babylonian exile. Aramaic was the Language our Messiah spoke. Why would He write the Renewed covenant in Greek, if He came for the lost sheep of the house of YisraeL? Mat 15:24 And He answering, said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ěl.” He did NOT send His disciples to the Greeks! But to who …? Mat 10:5 יהושע sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronim, Mat 10:6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ěl. The Gospel is for the Lost sheep of Yisrael dispersed amongst the nations. NOT for the Nations/pagans. Jas 1:1 Ya‛aqoḇ, a servant of Elohim and of the Master יהושע Messiah, to the twelve tribes who are in the dispersion: Greetings. If you believe the Renewed Covenant /NT was written in Greek, then why did Yahusha speak to Shaul/Paul in Hebrew from the heavens? Act 26:14 “And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me, and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Sha’ul, Sha’ul, ….” As far as your reference to Joh 14:16, you are wrong. Do you not know Yahuah has 7 Spirits?(Rev 4:5, Isa 11:1&2, Zech 4:10) And He will send you the Spirit(His Spirit) that you require. Whether it is … Isa 11:2 The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him - the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה, Isa 11:3 and shall make Him breathe in the fear of יהוה. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. So if you need a helper in council, you receive the Spirit of Council. Get the drift? When you speak of the Spirit that lives in you, this is the Spirit of Yahusha, NOT the HS. This is a secret which ONLY the chosen will understand: Col 1:26 the secret which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His set-apart ones, Col 1:27 to whom Elohim desired to make known what are the riches of the esteem of this secret among the nations: which is Messiah in you, the expectancy of esteem, Messiah in you, NOT the HS! HalleluYAH! I will send another reply on the HS explaining where it came from.

@@paxchristianchurch Trinity is another fabrication of the Catholic church! The translators with the help of the church fathers changes the Word of Yahuah, to make it suit their theology. For example... in the KJV: Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: You only find this in the christian Bible, it therefore has no second or third witness. In the Shem Tov (the Hebrew book of Matthew)it is written as follows: MT 28:19&20 19 “Go” 20 “ and teach them to carry out all the things that I have commanded you forever” There is no reference of the Trinity! Many, many times in Scripture it gets referred to as the Set Apart Spirit(Holy Ghost) but never as a third person but as the Spirit of Yahusha or Yahuah. So a VERY BIG YES, TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE SPIRIT OF YAHUAH AND YAHUSHA. But NO to the spirit as a third person. Yahusha said the following, only referring to Two Persons: Joh 14:23 יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him. Joh 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. Joh 10:30 “I and My Father are one.” Joh 3:35 “The Father loves the Son, and has given all into His hand. Joh 3:36 “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.” So where does this idea of trinity come from? Catholicism was born in 325-326 ce. In 325 ce the council of Nicaea convened by Constantine. Here a certain Athanasius from Alexandria presented the idea of a trinity of 3 equal persons and it was so established. He defined Catholicism based on the doctrine of the trinity and reads as follows: “Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic faith. Which faith except everyone do keep whole and undefiled; without doubt he shall perish everlasting. And the Catholic faith is this: That we worship one god in trinity, and trinity in unity; neither confounding the Persons; nor devising the Essence. For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; another of the Holy Ghost…. This is the Catholic faith; which except a man believe truly and firmly, he con not be saved.” These same people gave them ideas such as the following: Transubstantiation (where wine and bread actually becomes JC), purgatory, 7th day Sabbath moved to Sunday, The Mass, prayers to the dead, rosaries, eating of unclean animals, The 7 sacraments etc. The great leaders of the church who leads many millions astray. Some thoughts to consider on the trinity concept: 1. Our Messiah never mentioned the trinity. 2. It is not mentioned in the OT/Tanakh. 3. In the teachings of Yahusha, the trinity if it was true, He must have taught and He never did. 4. In Mk 12: 28-34 a Scribe (learned in the Torah ) asked which is the 1st command(he knew what it was but tested Yahusha). Yahusha responded with the Shema. The Scribe responded: Mar 12:32 And the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one Elohim, and there is no other besides Him. Mar 12:33 “And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the being, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbour as oneself, is more than all the burnt offerings and offerings.” Yahusha responded: Mar 12:34 And when יהושע saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the reign of Elohim.” And after that no one was bold enough to question Him. No mention of the third person. 5. If the trinity was true, there must have been verses, chapter or book like with the Son, Joh 3:35&36; Heb 1; Mt 3:17; Act 8:37; Prov 30:4 etc. 6. The Yahudim/Jews don’t believe in the trinity(Rom 9:4&5). 7. The word trinity never mentioned in the Scriptures, and for it to be a belief system? Where does it get its authenticity? The oral law of the Christianity(Christmas and Easter), like the Talmud of the Orthodox Jews. 8. No Yahudim who were converted by Yahusha or disciples, ever challenged the Trinitarian principle? Why? Because it wasn’t there. HalleluYAH!!!

Hey. Go back and read the post again. It's clear you didn't understand what was said. The English word "lord" is used in different ways in English translations to translate multiple different Hebrew words. But also, from your reference to "Yahusha" and "Yahuah" I can see that it is unlikely that facts and truth are your main interest here. In fact, nearly everything you wrote is factually incorrect. Jesus isn't Zeus. Not in any language. Look into real scholarship, and you'll find what we said lines up with the scriptures. Don't just get caught up in fear mongering and conspiracy-laced fringe theologies. Yahweh isn't into any of that.

REVELATION 21:22-27 22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

And this is why I'm anti-christian. It's not doing your best to make the world a better place that gets you in Heaven, it's believing that God exists (something that is out of your control). Honestly, after reading this passage, I can't believe you don't at least start questioning what you've been taught.

You are half right, my friend. It is the belief and trust in Jesus Christ that saves us from eternal damnation because NONE of us are capable of doing it ourselves. However, to say that the Christian faith does nothing to make the world a better place is inaccurate. If a person believes in Christ and trusts the work that Christ did for us, then that person will keep His commandments. Jesus says that the greatest of the commandments are to love the Lord God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. If more people lived their lives with those principles in mind, I believe the world would indeed be a better place.

I'm sorry to hear of your conclusion "this is why I'm anti-Christian". I hadn't heard anyone try to argue FOR working your way into heaven as being a better system. I'm not seeing the connection to that causing us to question what we've been taught. Is there something else behind these comments? What would be the standard there if it was a requirement to "do your best to make the world a better place that gets you in Heaven"? And better according to whom? Would it be subjective? Emphasis on YOUR BEST? Should it be an objective standard, like feed the homeless x amount of times? What about the idea that we fall short of God's glory and all have a problem that makes the world a tough place (Rom.3.23)? What about the justice of sin and reconciliation? What about God's plans for a better world, which include at this point, His people following Him to do the good works He has planned for us from the beginning? Historically, the church has been the source of many of the world's great goods: hospitals, schools, orphanages, feeding the hungry, etc.

@@paxchristianchurch hey there. I like that you're responding to comments. So I just wanted to ask why you didn't respond to the point regarding the fact that much of what we are convinced by is out of our control. Sure, we can control how introspective we are, but we can't just will ourselves to be convinced of something that we don't actually think is true. A person's religious beliefs are largely dependent on where they are born. If a friend of yours told you they had a hundred billion dollars in their pocket all just for you, but provided no evidence for it, you'd probably not believe. No matter how good the news is, you probably wouldn't believe. And you wouldn't be able to just "choose" to believe. So, with God, if you're genuinely unconvinced, you're just going to hell, I guess. Why? Because God designed us to use reason, and because He chose not to interact with the universe in any empirical manner? Requiring belief in something for which there is no substantial evidence, in order to achieve eternal life, seems like the will of a very cruel God.

@@coyboy93 In any large organization, you'll have people that improve the world just as you'll have people that'll ruin the organization's reputation. I believe in Christians that make a better place. In fact, I know some that give Christianity a good name. I also know a few who preach that those who don't believe in the one true God will go to Hell where they will be burned and tortured forever, and passages like these that explain that if you believe in Jesus (something that you have no control over), then you'll get into Heaven. I believe that Christians aren't the only people that are capable of doing good, and in fact, some are just as capable of doing evil, and I think it should be our actions rather than our belief systems that should be judged when we stand at the pearly gates.

This man is a demon in the flesh. I can almost guarantee that this man is gay. And I can guarantee you that this man is not reading his Strong's concordance to help him interpret scripture. If you're not reading a Strong's concordance to help you understand scripture that you are not learning anything in fact you are going to probably be going to hell
@paxchristianchurch
@paxchristianchurch Месяц назад
Dang. That's a harsh statement. The Pharisees said stuff like that about Jesus all the time. But let's try to have some grace and see if you said anything true or helpful: "This man is a demon in the flesh." - For preaching Jesus and faith in Him leading to salvation? Not sure that's how demons work... "I can almost guarantee that this man is gay." - That's a weird ad hominem attack. Married to a woman for over 18 years, so that's a pretty solid testimony against that idea. "And I can guarantee you that this man is not reading his Strong's concordance to help him interpret scripture." - What part do you think is interpreted incorrectly that a Strong's concordance would correct? There were exactly zero words that should be interpreted differently according to the Strong's. "If you're not reading a Strong's concordance to help you understand scripture that you are not learning anything in fact you are going to probably be going to hell" - That's just silly. In fact, you can get really weird if you spend too much time on particular word studies. You tend to lose the forest for the trees. AND, there is definitely no extrabiblical resource required for salvation. The Word of God alone is sufficient. In fact, you don't even have to know the whole Bible (but we highly recommend it and have a daily reading plan for those who want to get to know God's word better). All that is required is to believe in Jesus as Lord. That's according to Jesus himself, and specifically laid out by Paul in Romans 10. Check the Strong's. It will confirm that interpretation. :)

@paxchristianchurch

Repentance is part of it. But faith in Christ is what saves you. Repentance is the part where we change according to our faith. The point was that you can’t repent (stop sinning) on your own and save yourself. You can’t have life and forgiveness without Christ.

““Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses. May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in obedience to him and keep the commands, decrees and laws he gave our ancestors. And may these words of mine, which I have prayed before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day and night, that he may uphold the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel according to each day’s need, so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God and that there is no other. And may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.”” ‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭8‬:‭56‬-‭61‬ ‭NIV‬‬ bible.com/bible/111/1ki.8.56-60.NIV 💯🙌🙌🙌

Amen Brian- it’s SO important not to take that passage as a free pass to harm a child. I think sometimes I work so hard at trying to emulate Gods love that I also forget that God disciplines us too, and I sometimes find myself realizing later that I missed the chance to teach my kids something.
