Yes, Cubans tend to be the exception. That would make for an interesting topic of discussion. We will contact our Cuban cigar specialists and see what they have to say. Appreciate the input!
I personally found it to be far more peppery and richer in many ways, as it is a heavily fermented maduro. Truly an incredibly complex premium cigar blend.
NO THANKS , 14 dollar Tupperdore for this guy and all dressed up to boot and im buying not just sticks but with the extra cash goin all in premium ceeegggaaars baby !! Cheers .
Oh man, the retrohale is perhaps the most crucial component of the review process! I cannot stress this enough to people, as your nose oftentimes dictates what your palate detects, and visa versa. Plus, when you've got a shnozz with the size and sensitivity of mine, you can detect all sorts of wild nuance!
BX3 is one of my all-time faves. Ive always preferred the Toro but the Robusto is a great choice for anyone who doesnt want intense espresso bitterness in the final third.
Yeah the larger vitolas of the BX3 tend to get a touch too rough and just too funky in the terroir department toward the end I find. Robusto is the way to go, especially when smoking outdoors in nearly 100% summer humidity.
Yes we do indeed carry it. But it is only available to Klaro Members during the month of August. Definitely worth signing up if you haven't already. Especially if it means starting off with this smoke.
The Sahakians at Davidoff of London have conducted tests over the course of decades and found that cigars age better inside of cello than bare. For that reason they don’t remove any of their sticks from cello. Oh, and most cellophane will decompose within a month if buried in compost.
Yeah we recommend keeping your sticks in cellophane as well. If anything it helps prevent the wrapper from getting damaged during routine rotation. And we've read mixed results in regard to cellophane breaking down when buried. Presuming it has just as much to do with acidity and micro organisms as the cellophane itself, so being that Micah is an avid composter this will be a fun one for him to experiment with I think. Appreciate the feedback!
We do, but they are for the Military line of humidors. We can definitely look into offering Smoke Can trays if there is demand though. caseelegance.com/products/extra-military-humidor-storage-tray
If you want to try the best fire-cured kentucky it is in Italy and not from the Toscano brand but from the Compagnia Toscana Cigari. I prefer something else from Drew Estate, this one is too sweet for my tastes.
I love this stick! One of my summertime favorites. I keep Padrón well represented in my box as well with many higher end offerings but the KFC is just a great smoke. Really nice for a change of pace.
