July '24 - Just watched BZ at Night in the Country Yerington NV. I watched from VIP section and it was a lifetime moment. Hubby & I are older (60+). We were totally rockin ' to all the great songs.. what a show. This kid is an entertainer.

I love this car/track combo. It's my first experience with the Gen4 Cup. I usually don't qualify and start in the back. Have gotten 4th in my two races. Usually in races with 1000-1500 SOF, so lots of crashing and overdriving.
I agree, the Gen4 cup car is a lot of fun to drive and has a lot of power. I think this particular race SOF was about 1600 and yup…. there were a ton of crashes. Only 11 of 30 finished on the lead lap
Raced it again last night. After qualifying 2nd, screwed myself by accidentally passing someone on a yellow going into the pits. Still came back and finished 8th. Need to keep getting my IR up to race in quality fields. Currently a B with 1360 IR@@ApparentlyItsJason
People who never practice tracks beforehand piss me off, like that guy who blew the chicane early on. Like really dude? Just hopped into a race without knowing it was there?
ImmortalHitman Do you even race ? If you did, I believe it would be more clear to you that I held my line for the entirety of those last two laps. At no point did I try to block anyone who was attempting to pass me on fresh tires. I remained all the way on the outside down the straights and on the 2nd lane from the bottom in the corners (highest racing line) so that people could freely pass to my inside.
1:10:36-1:10:43. Absolutely no reason to come down off the wall and ride the middle 3rd of the track while forcing all 20 guys to squeeze in below you.1:10:48. 1:10:58 you did the same thing to the next guy. Leaving him zero room when he has a 10+mph run. Nearly sideswipe the guy going low instead of holding the high line with bad tires through that turn. Then at 1:11:03 you smack the wall and AGAIN come down onto the middle 3rd of the track making everyone squeeze two wide past you to your inside. Dangerous. You made it much more dangerous for everyone else there than it needed to be. A license. 4k IRating with a 4.99SR. Yeah, I race well.
Just to even the score, I thought you were fine. Firstly, you had no tires, which makes it hard to fire off straight on the exits of corners. I could see the front end was plowing, so it's understandably difficult to keep it high coming off the turns. Also, you were still racing for position. It's not your job to hug the wall down the front and backstretch so that everyone can pass. I didn't see any needless blocking or swerving. Anyway, as a mere race fan and occasional sim-racer, I'm not qualified to tell you how you did... but neither is that other guy.
