That was actually a cam gear puller for a Detroit 60 series that just barely worked lol. Most harmonic balancer pullers will work so long as it physically bolts up.
That’s odd I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work unless there’s no codes, but I assume you’re doing this because you have an engine light on. I’d give it a few more tries both slower and faster just in case but other than that I’m not sure unfortunately.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy Tony, it didn't even show a clear code (yes the engine light is on). Another RU-vidr did say that it might have to be done 5 times. Have you ever had to do the key cycle 5 times?
@@kentr2424 Just the 3 on any vehicle I’ve ever tried it on but I guess at this point I’d be down to try other methods lol. Otherwise will have to breakdown and rent or buy a scan tool.
2018 sierra. I had to have this fixed at the shop for lots of $. Now I watched your video and for the price of the filter and some elbow grease, I got it fixed myself for a lot less money. Thanks!!
00 jeep Cherokee won’t throw any codes but on my obd scanner it only throws the check engine light is my computer bad? Also won’t start has gas n spark to
@@TonyTheTruckGuy we did and they were all good so I’m believing it’s the computer it’s already had the crank sensor and cam sensor replaced and had a new ignition coil installed before we sold it to my buddy then he’s saying that it’s 100% the computer and it’s sounding like it lol
My 2020 rear window frame developed two cracks. One of which is a wide open terrible crack. Water is leaking. I am currently fighting the dealership battle. After refusing to accept their lame excuses, they finally have agreed to replace the entire window and frame as a “goodwill gesture”. Supposedly the parts are ordered…. We will see. I hate being the squeaky wheel type of person but it seems like they push you into it. They know most people won’t stand up for themselves I guess.
Exactly! Replacing the full window and frame is the only acceptable fix, and it can even happen again if they didn’t come up with a better design yet. Pretty sure mine cracked a 2nd time but I traded the truck end when the lease was up so didn’t have to worry about it anymore lol. The factory bumper to bumper warranty is only 3 year/36k miles, so I guess it technically would be a “good will” gesture since you’re out of warranty unless you paid for an extended aftermarket warranty. I’ve definitely been in the same position though and it sucks.
It did not. I have a similar video for my old 2004 Grand Cherokee that did have the factory amp and premium sound, so that video may help you out. I think the only thing different is there was a blue wire for the amp to connect and then I added a module to retain my factory steering wheel audio controls.
"CAN YOU LIFT ME HIGHER"? 🎵🎶🎼. Damn shitty Nickol back, because of this video that damn song is stuck in my head and let me tell you you do not want a pickleback song stuck in your head 🥒 🔙
@@TonyTheTruckGuy you beat on the yoke, there is no way that thing is still within minimum runout😂😂😂 that tubing is probably only 065 wall dom... no need to clamp it in the vice thats the cave man way of doing it.
Some people have been able to do the front map lights just by removing the lens but you gotta use a needle nose and have some finesse. But they should just all be LED at this point.
Double check you have the bulb installed correctly and in the right position. If issue persists, plug the old tail light back in so you know if it's a truck issue or an issue with the new lights.
Ohhhhh I can’t remember now it’s been a while and of course filming adds time and then I had to mess with that connector. Probably an hour or 2 if you have all the tools and don’t run into any issues.
@@TonyTheTruckGuy thanks for the reply, yea I just did this same job on a civic ( 05 ) and the design is ridiculous, took me about 3 plus hours with all the tools , the problem was that the sliding bracket for the alternator gets in the way of the actual lower alternator bolt , it's easier to just remove the whole bracket which is held on by 1 bolt the put the slider bracket bolt in then install, ( if you know what I mean ) whacky ass design if you ask me ! Cheers from Ohio ! 🍻
@@lostinspacerobinson1527 Haha yeah, the design could definitely be better, and I remember that bracket being annoying. I'm sure you had to deal with a little Ohio rust as well haha. Glad you got it figured out, though!
How about 2016 jeep compass. I turned key to on position. Pressed 3 times gas pedal. Turned off. Didnt work. Tried 2 more times, pedal became hard to press down. How long should I wait to try again
What kind of harness would i need to get? I have a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 2WD the only things I’ve done with the audio is door speakers and the factory subwoofer it has the same factory head unit you have
I've got everything I used linked in the video description. If you think yours is different, you could always verify online at like Best Buy or Crutchfield by year/make/model.
Might as well buy another carburetor ($12-$15) when you buy the 125B. The #1 problem with these is a clogged carb--which is almost impossible to clean. Lots of youtube videos on fixing this problem and changing the carb.
Hmm. I wonder if this is more prominent with people using gasoline with ethanol in it and being stored for long periods? I use 91 non-oxy to mix with my 2 cycle oil and I have not touched the carb or added any fuel stabilizer since I got it almost 4 years ago haha. Good to know a new carb is pretty cheap, though!
@@TonyTheTruckGuy I have always run ethanol-free gas & 2 stroke oil, that's all. It lasted 7 years on the original carb. You cannot get the last few drops of gas out, so when it sits over the winter that's when it gets clogged.
Dude! That was so quick and easy, great video, I wish you nothing but success and awesomeness in your life. Don't have to listen to the ding of stupidity anymore
Great video. Very informative. Though I’ve done it your way more than once, if you can’t get you hands in such tight spaces, I recommend taking the bumper cover off. I’ve done it on this model more than a half dozen times. The light housing access is so much better. And you won’t tear your hands up. There are instruction videos on You Tube.
